... The rule is that for a run to be valid ,every salmon in the run can be connected up to 2other salmons. According to this , the rule is not broken by the triplet. But such a star triplet cannot be further extended as the rule will break wherever you place the fourth salmon. But as it is now ,it's fine and valid

If you are asking if the triplet run of salmons is valid or not , the answer is it is valid
... The rule is that for a run to be valid ,every salmon in the run can be connected up to 2other salmons. According to this , the rule is not broken by the triplet.
