This definitely gives it a more tropical vibe than the original, I kind of love it for that! Really good mix! I could see this being in a Dimps Rush-style demake, like Sonic Colors.

I’d imagine that the day time stages are like Sonic Rush or Colors DS while warehog is top down like Zelda Spirit Tracks, though the controls can be selected to be either touch controlled or normal d-pad controlled Also I would like to hear what Windmill Isle night time hear like
I feel that the PSP would’ve worked well with this theme for a Sonic Unleashed PSP fan game. It would’ve been much better port than the PS2 port where it’s supposed to push its limits of the PS2.

Not even close to the DS sound, you need to compress is to the proper sample rate, this sounds too clean.
