Do these diesels require the use of diesel exhaust fluid like the ones in the U.S.? I've bought my last new diesel in the U.S. unless they can improve reliability of the emissions systems.
Even the most fragile parts in this truck will last longer than the mechanically folding gear lever on the new F-150s. Last time I saw a broken land cruiser or a Hilux, they were either involved in a serious crash or were driven carelessly.
@@nigelveasey7199 Listen mate, my dad bought a brand new Hilux Invincible back in 2012. That thing has survived through 2 floods, has been driven to hell and back and now has a million miles clocked on it. Where he lives, the normal roads look like what westerners call "offroad". You're not gonna convince me that I'm a sheep when you yourself don't have any real life experience about trucks because if you did, you wouldn't scoff at a Hilux.
@@nigelveasey7199 That wasn't the point though was it? This wasn't a debate about which utility pickup truck is better or worse, this was about you saying it's overpriced and breakable. It just isn't. These are built like tanks. You can't even distinguish the difference between you're and your. Cope harder

Massive! So much bigger than my 1989 hilux.
Did they forget the interior when they did the upgrades? Not a patch on the wildtrak or amorok
Rear diff is 310 mm clearance..front sump is considerably lower though. Not sure how Toyota made this mistake.
