Personally, i wish Normal or EX Gengar had dream eater so it could deal extra damage to sleeping opponents and give "Sleep" more relevance and add a HP recover attack.
16:20 Misty's effect now reads "until the end of your opponent's next turn, all your [W] energies count for 2[W]" 1. Doesn't cheat the turn 1 attack 2. Synergy with all these high energy cost water types 3. Helps out dragonite 4. Throws alakazam/jynx a bone
Yep. I only have one Wiggly tuff EX but I suspect it won't be anywhere near as important as the Jigglypuffs and obviously the Gengar will be the sweeper that shuts down decks.
Why do you draw the pokeball before professor research, isnt doing it backwards better because you're not drawing a basic Pokemon that will be in the next two cards?
I think pokeball first is better. Coz if you used the professor research first (and then you get a basic pokemon), then there is no more reason to play the pokeball. But if you play pokeball first, you have a sure basic pokemon, and then with profressor research next, you can get a support/item or maybe a stage2/stage3 pokemon.
@@tunixd2186 Agreed. It is almost always better to Pokeball before Oak's research. This way if you Pokeball the Basic Pokemon it means you cannot draw it with Oak, so you can dig deeper. Actually on turn one, many times it is advised to not even Oak's at all, as you cannot evolve stuff and it sets you up for Red Card a lot of the time. Pokeball has no such caveats.
@tunixd2186 I mean that will only apply if you only have one Basic Pokemon left, will you have more than one left you will not matter if you got one there, because then you could use the pokeball to catch the other
The gengar deck that has been working for me is 2 gengar EX and 2 Persian If you need Meowth to take an extra hit or put an enemy in Gengar range you evolve it into Persian
I think the new haunter is pretty good, the purpose is to have the chance of killing stuff like staryu, promo jiggly, exeggcute etc. before they can evolve. And just win early because of that. The current haunter does not kill anything. So I rather have a chance to win the game early than doing 30 dmg and it’s whatever in most cases. If you add giovanni you can kill 70% of the basics on your very first attack
Wow, I was actually just playing around with almost exactly the same list yesterday! It reminds me a lot of your Beedrill deck. Base Gengar is actually pretty good. I came away from my games feeling like 4 basics wasn't quite consistent enough. 1-energy stage 2s feel good when you draw your evolutions quickly, but getting stuck on Gastly or Haunter feels pretty bad. I ended up dropping the Gengar EX and one Jigglypuff for 2 Kangas, which performed a little more consistently.
Moltres has flip 3 coins so if misty were to be changed to flip 2 coins it would be not bad. Maybe would enable the annoying lapras and articuno decks but could also enable new ones and we already have mewtwo and charzard so Fuq it
It would be a buff to the card overall, as on average Misty nets 0.875 energy. Yet it does remove the many feel bads of 0 heads or 2+ heads which are bullshit. So maybe it would be better. I know I hate the card as is.
Dekkster just wanted to give you a heads up that it’s hard to find this channel. When i type stuff like “mewtwo ex dekkster” it doesn’t pop up or anything
I could be wrong but I think he’s never released a mewtwo video because if you type literally anything else it pops up example pokemon pocket dekkster pinsir dekkster

I wish the only way to obtain old promo is by trading. It makes the event trash if promo cards returns

wigglytuf ex + exeggutor Ex is good.
Is there a way to flip more heads? I always hear people say “well I’m not great at flipping heads” and it makes it seem like it’s a skill, not luck
Surprised you didn’t wait for the new ones to come out I’m stealing this deck when they drop btw !
That alt art wiggley lookks 🔥🔥🔥
I have like 8 extra Promo Mankey even after dusting 3 for some battle flair. But I missed Butterfree somehow. Just the way she goes i guess.

This deck with new Jigglypuff will be amazing

As a Gengar lover I was really looking forward to a new Haunter... then I saw it 😢
Not giving haunter dream eater is pretty stupid. Imagine new jiggly sing then swap to new haunter with dream eater. 50 damage 1 energy.
