  • Well we absolutely TORE EM UP! Guy's shooting docks is one of my favorite ways of crappie fishing. The spring time bite is definitely turning on and it's just so much fun getting out there feeling that thump and filling up the freezer with these guys. In this video the crappie were still a little deep but I'm sure within the next couple weeks with the temps climbing they will be heading into shallow water. (Also Ima need to turn my drag down next time LOL) Thanks for dropping by my friends hope you enjoyed the video and stay tuned for MORE!!

    Man that was freaking awesome bro👍👍👍 this video was definitely your best one yet Buddy!!!! at 15:45 that was an awesome slow mo😋. As far as my opinion goes that footage is why I watch👌 and because you are more proficient at this that I am when I go out and do this type of fishing I want to know what the bite looks like and the footage shows me the procedure and then the retrieve and what it looks like when they hit it😁😁 thanks again for the Hat shout out at the end Buddy😋😋😋👍👍🎣🎣🎣🎣

    Hey Paul, The quality of these video are top notch. I hope soon your channel gets more exposure because some of these guys with thousands of subscribers don’t have half the content you’re showing. I need you to do me a favor. Take me on your boat and help me catch fish! 😆. I enjoy the nice editing B-Roll in the start of the video and the background music is nice and breaks up the silence. Keep doing what your doing. I’m sure this channel will blow up in now time. 👍🏻

      wow! Thank you for all the compliments!! I'm pretty hard on myself about how I want my videos to look. I do think this one turned out ok. I definitely had a good time fishing for sure. Maybe one day this channel can grow but I honestly just enjoy fishing and making videos and editing. I've said this before but even if I didn't have my GoPro on I'd be talking to myself lol. And I just enjoy editing, Learning new things, and coming back and watching my videos from time to time. Hey one day well get out there and catch a few! Thanks for all the continued support! Fish on bud!

    Awesome video and slabs! Enjoyed it, thanks for the early morning entertainment. I'd like to see you bait fall once. If you dont like that beep, you can disable it. I found mine to be annoying on a quiet lake

      I’ll have to check out the setting on that. And thanks for your input on watching the bait drop. I just didn’t know if anyone cared to see that. I’ll prob do that from time to time. Thanks Edo for the support!

    Excellent content Paul!! What are your Garmin side imaging settings on.? Your settings are excellent.

    • @Paulcatchesemall
      @Paulcatchesemall  3 роки тому +1

      I’m pretty sure all these are right but off the top of my head my brightness is between 72-75 and just about the same with contrast... I use 455 mgz on my side imaging. Usually if I’m scanning docks I only use what side the docks are on to utilize the screen better. I don’t believe I missed anything but in my previous video I show my screen and what’s my setting near the end of the video in case I’m missing anything. Thanks for the compliment and the comment. Hopefully this helps. Fish on Mike 🎣😎

      The foot pedal is in my garage lol. I plan on connecting it I just have holes I’ll have to drill to keep the wires nice and in order. I just haven’t got around to it the remote is good for now. And I’m using a Lews Wally Marshall speed shooter. I love this little setup. Perfect for dock shooting. 6’ the reel is a Lews 100 series speed shooter also. Using 6lb mr crappie hi-vis line. Why do you keep Reeling when the Drag is slipping? That causes Line Twist!

    • @Paulcatchesemall
      @Paulcatchesemall  3 роки тому +2

      LOL you asked the same question I just answered on the last video. My Drag was set wayyy to high and for some reason I didn’t mess with it until the end of the trip. Even the little blue gill had my drag spinning. This video was shot last week so I haven’t posted another video yet with drag tightend up a bit. Stay on me and make sure I stop that! 😆 fish on buddy 😎🎣

      @@Paulcatchesemall Thats happened to me before too. Not that I catch as manny fish as you lol just I'll be in the middle of catching fish and have my drag set to high for whatever reason but for some reason forget to turn it down smh. Also, If it was a bigger species it would prob be a problem but with these small crappie I don't see how much that was create a line twist?? But good idea to try and stay on top of it! I'll remind ya too HAHA

      @Paulcatchesemall  3 роки тому

      Yea later in the video my drag wasn’t screaming as much. Still don’t know why l left it like that 🤷🏻‍♂️... I’m a weirdo when I’m catching fish. All that’s in my mind is to catch more idk 😆. Luckily Mr. James has been on me about it so next trip I’ll keep my drag right and hopefully eliminate anymore line twists! 😉
