Really enjoy all your videos, 44teeth and BVG, but I prefer this type of vlog format (more in the vein of classic BVG ride&rant) to the track/review videos. Hugely entertaining, keep up the great work, gents!
On a new bike you're a passenger, on an old bike you're a survivor, much more involving and enjoyable. Between my gsxr1000r and my gsx1100 classic race bike, I still get massive grin factor from the oldun! Enjoy your time guys.
That was a very enjoyable VanVlog. Its nice to go off tangent and not talk about motorcycles all the time. I always love it when they do that on my favourite podcasts. Good work 44teeth! This went very well with my steak and wine. Yum!
I had a 2010 VFR1200F and it was the most soul-less motorcycle I ever rode. Then I see you guys do a video on what Ariel did with the same foundation and like you guys I was wondering "Why can't Honda do that?". Honda doesn't make motorcycles anymore, they make 2 wheeled appliances. They will never go wrong, but you don't fall in love with your kitchen appliances.
We've all known for years that buying a modern bike is a fantastic platform to start modding from. Treat it to a few goodies in the areas where manufacturers had to compromise (catalytic converters, silencers, emissions equipment, servo eliminators, suspension, fuel mapping, some weight saving) and it will make a good bike great. Mods add so much emotional value to a bike. Whatever comes out stock nowadays, just needs a little work to really shine. Motorcycles have gotten extremely refined and entertaining in the last two decades, bogged down by a few bits that aren't too much a hassle to remove.
Just tuned in yesterday to you epic lads, enjoying every second of your content! Watched 3 seasons of BBB last night😅 Keep up the great work, you’re enlighting bikers days everywhere👌🏻
10:09 I had to pause and comment because I could not agree more. I have an 01 GSXR 750 and a 19 Hayabusa. The gixxer is awesome fun around the twisties but a little twitchy, like just enough to make you feel like you are doing something exciting and could come off any time even though you most likely won’t. This current model Hayabusa is so planted and awesome that it doesn’t even get unsettled until you are doing warp speeds. Your comment about the S1000 Chris and modern bikes in general to me feels spot on and I am glad I’m not the only one who feels that way. Anyway, back to the vid...
Loved the video and the random topics, not everything has to be about bikes. Sounds very much like what me and my friends talk about while on a road trip or doing something together... -Ooh, that outro line from Chris was just absolutely fantastic...
Modern bikes with all the gizmos are too expensive when they sit in the garage 90% of the time. Switchable abs and traction plus slipper clutch is enough. Rain mode, wtf, most riders dont go out in the rain and those that do know to ease off...
Baron Von Grumble is back!!! Top quality moaning guys. Love it. Agree with everything completely. My mate got 3 points from measured white lines on a road.
28:04 Come on Chris. Be careful waving credit cards around on screen. Might not be a bad idea to use youtube editing feature and bluring those out just to be on the safe side.
Great vid guys, please do more like these. Chris, your dead right about the noisy 5%, the rest of us need to stand up before it's too late and the lunatics are running the asylum.
Love this... 'Joy is the greatest measure of success' sadly most businesses seem to do there best to suck all the joy out of what you do ...most of the time for the personal gain or ego of a few ..... Love the channel
Hi guys, the very first paragraph of the police Road Craft manual states that......excessive speed in itself is not dangerous, but it’s the ability of the person speeding that will be called into question, the Road Craft manual is the bible by which all police drivers are trained to by completing their six week driving course. I completed the Ambulance Service’s version of it as a two week course and we used the Police Road Craft manual as well.
[sarcasm] It’s great to see the effort and money the police spent on Joe’s case! Goes nicely in hand with the met police’s own video I saw the other day where a lad stole a moped, raced through London (evading the police) then dumped the bike, they gave chase & he threw a knife (which was a 2ft long combat knife btw) they caught him and he got... a community order and a £100 fine. Don’t even get me started on the 2 times I’ve been robbed and had zero police help/assistance. Best I got was a police call centre and a week of waiting before I was told they weren’t willing to look into it despite a description & the twat using my card all over London where he’d have been on cctv everywhere.
To play devil's advocate, in the case of the moped thief, the Police did their bit and caught the guy. What he got after that is up to the courts, not the Police. But yeah, the whole system is a bit broken...
Love your motorcycle videos, but really you guys could just sit in a van driving places, chatting. Absolutely hilarious and way more entertaining than high budget shows like Grand Tour.
The last rant about social media and the POlice prosecution was on point ... but in retrospect be careful what you wish for because now we are all staring at something *MUCH* bigger to worry about! Our jobs/freedom/the economy etc ... all because of this armageddon virus that has not killed as many people in 14 weeks as smoking ... not even close!
I'm so, so with you guys on the old bikes vs new bikes topic (and all the other topics as well...) The new bikes feels like a videogame with all their gizmo and gadgets and they ride to smooth and to fast to road-use. I personally got a Aprilia RSV1000R Factory (2008) and a Kawasaki ZX7R (1998).
916, the game changer. Yep, before the 916, getting out on the road meant riding the bike on the road , not stuffing it in a van and driving it somewhere because it needs refuelling more frequently than the rider needs to stop to uncontort their body from the hideously cramped riding position.
"Involvement" is what any good relationship is about, else it's an expensive one-night stand. I feel the same way about my '03 Daytona (well, I have too, as I can not afford another eye-catcher -- 9,300 miles when I bought, a few months back!)
Good conversation, I quite enjoy trashing my 2015 Triumph Street Triple ABS neck each day commuting rather than caring for a nice classy 'big new bike' or a high performance bike etc. they are fine etc, but it is horses for courses and as a commuter it needs to be trashed not polished. If I got a sports one it would be the old classic rather than new £15K one. I am sure if I ever did a track day the 20165 675 ABS model would not perform that bad either. Great vid guys, keep it up.
This is how I see it, really simple 1. You can listen to a bunch of guys on forums and Facebook pages, none of which know fuck all about the bike because they didn’t make it 2. Or you can listen to the team of engineers that spend a lot of pennies on research and development to tell you how to break in your new motorcycle Sure Rich from down the pub might have thrashed his brand new RSV4 for the first 1000 miles and it was fine 20,000 miles later, doesn’t mean you should listen to him
The banter, opinions, bullshit and fucketry is what I watch you guys for (&bikes😊) The launch (bikes/tyres etc) stuff was getting abit meh after the many many of them but this is what 44teeth is the best at😁
Loved that gents, great fun, and cheers for the mention 👍👏
“I respect women but right now...” Chris you absolute legend. Actually spat some tea out 🤣🤣🤣
thelifeofmikey yes, that come out of nowhere😂
“Testicles” and “bollocks” 10 seconds in. Yup, it’s a 44 teeth video. Take my LIKE!
Edit: Bollocks typo lol
Bollocks

Between greed and the Pussification of mankind we’re all doomed.
Great video again guys and big thanks for the mention, mad world we live in 🤷♂️😒
That brightened up my Wednesday evening, thank you gents.

Maybe the spin dryer.
What is more amazing is that you bought that bike!!!! the VFR as a great bike ended with the VFR 800.
Love the VanVlogs. Picked up a t-shirt to support you guys, and can't wait for the next budget bike battle video!

Loved this. Started off very lighthearted then got a bit serious! Very entertaining.
Love it lads, never enough 44 Teeth videos but I understand there’s limitations!
this is a brilliant concept. pleeeeeze can we see more of your van roadtrips/rants.
it's like we are all taking a road trip.
haha
This was excellent and quite moving. Thank you!

Im from Sweden (left hand drive). Spent a long time trying to figure out who’s drivning.
Can't wait for the return journey!! Epic

Brilliant stuff guys as usual and fully agree there are bigger things in the world than a blurred speedo.
Loving the video lads. I'd love to see a Superduke 1290R vs Streetfighter V4 battle at Jerez if you ever got the chance. Cheers guys.
These are a couple of dudes I could spend a couple hours in a van rating with. Makes me miss road trips with friends.
Modern bikes with all the gizmos are too expensive when they sit in the garage 90% of the time. Switchable abs and traction plus slipper clutch is enough. Rain mode, wtf, most riders dont go out in the rain and those that do know to ease off...
Best vlog in ages. More please !!
really enjoy this type of video, nice one guys
That was absolutely bang on!
I'm pretty sure CAVES here in Yeovil has just closed down a few weeks ago.
even after 37 mins, i wanted it to continue. loved it
Love your rants! Your opinions are shared by so many! Loved the teapot one mention it is complete bollocks what they are doing to him
Baron Von Grumble is back!!! Top quality moaning guys. Love it. Agree with everything completely.
My mate got 3 points from measured white lines on a road.
The first ten seconds is just pure 44T.
You guys chatting about work and life/lack of community etc etc reflects what we all think!.
28:04 Come on Chris. Be careful waving credit cards around on screen.

Cheers boys , hoodie purchased !!
Funny how 2 blokes in a van ranting can be so addictive to watch, with me saying ‘fuck yeh’ in agreement 😂
Quality viewing as always! 🙌🏻

Where’s BBB?!
Love the honesty. Keep it up.
Bloody awesome, and can so relate to the close out! :D

Unbelievable isn't it 🙄
It isn't a knife, it's a sword!

@@samgab It's a mixture of Masons, genuine people and ass hats.
Gents,
I really like the look of Fagan’s hoodie. Will this style ever be going on sale again?
Brilliant banter ... 2020 has been lonely
Love your motorcycle videos, but really you guys could just sit in a van driving places, chatting. Absolutely hilarious and way more entertaining than high budget shows like Grand Tour.
Chris: we need something big to stop people caring about the little things.
Coronavirus: wants to know your location

Decent ramblings!
That is the best ending to any UA-cam video ever 👌🏻
I wonder if you will have to get new batteries every time you want to ride the new ones!!!!
Absolutely agree!! The world needs to sort itself drastically! Now!! Great video!🍻

Brilliant Guys
Totally agree with everything including the very last bit 😎🍻
Nice to hear Crewkerne get a shout out, top notch video as always 👍👍
I thought I was the only person who shopped in Caves - great shop for poncho’s and bongs! Did you also frequent Gardens Al?
Loving the van vlog...faf ...keep up the good work

They say Hollywood marriages don’t last very long. These two are the exception👍🏻
Awesome chat!
Oy! Lads! We need them hoodies back in merch! Re-stock and take my money.

You cab leave salted butter on the counter. It stays soft and wind go bad
Can you guys do a short vid about your "moto-van" setup? Looking forward to Eicma content.
Spot on regarding success

Good on ya
Z H2 - what a munter! Looks like Kawasaki commissioned Hans Ruedi Giger to design it! Proper made me jump back when I saw it!
Hey guys love the vids I was woundering what you guys think of hard break ins for new bikes?
This is how I see it, really simple
1. You can listen to a bunch of guys on forums and Facebook pages, none of which know fuck all about the bike because they didn’t make it

The looks of the Z H2 are growing on me. Like elephantitis.
Like an uncircumcised wanger with leprosy
@@BrianFrichette Well, that's a graphic mental image. I was thinking more of a Z900 with elephantitis of the "neck"/"face".
I’m still on my Bauer roller skates (age 51), Sort yourself out with a new pair.. 😀.
Can we get some more of these? Road trip to the next cinema showing.
People used to make jokes about the Facebook Police and UA-cam Police... Now it's a reality. Cyber policing has risen to a new and unhealthy level.
