Incredible views. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. Glad your foot is better. And, for what it’s worth, I really appreciate you and Hollywood! I really look forward to both of your videos. Keep it safe!
This is an amazing video of the views. I hope you all are in good shape. The Hollywood cat talk was getting so sad. Hope feeling came back to his extremities. The deer looked like she was close to possibly giving birth. Needing some love. Your closeout is spectacular. 🎉🎉😂😊 I so enjoy your videos
Add a little forest scent to that music and you've got Soaring Over California in your hand! On those No Camping zones, it's usually burn areas (which i think you suggested) with a safety restriction or environmental restrictions. Most National Forests out west allow dispersed camping (camp anywhere) as long as you're 200 feet from water and not impeding a roadway.
I'm loving the scenic segments and dramatic music! Glad your foot is doing better. I suspect that the massive "no camping" zone is because of the burned trees, which are dried out and likely to fall, at any time. Sadly, lots of those areas in Calif. and Oregon. But, like you, I do find the beauty despite the burn. The contrast between the black, spartan trees and blue-blue sky is truly awe-inspiring. Thank you for sharing!
Like you, Lil'Chap, I've hiked 4,500 long-distance miles -- but all on the PCT. I like hiking in the evening while watching spectacular sunsets, as shown in this fine video. As a solo hiker who frequently cowboy camps, I often enjoy the sunset then hike until nine or ten or even later. There's that clan of long-distance hikers who believe you should hike when you have "the energy," and ain't it grand when you have mental energy, physical energy, and are pain-free all at the same blessed time! You have a fine mix of videography and music skills. Keep it up.
OMG!! Dear Mr Lil’ Chap, you saw the deer. You knew it was a doe. But yet you call her “Guy”. Then, bless you, you corrected yourself and we cheered for your revival and the statement that you had to correct yourself. 🙏 But then you called her a “thing” (this thing) and then you called her an “it”(it looks further in the camera)!!!!! OMG What made you do this? Was it the hat? It was the hat wasn’t it? It’s been frustrating you sooo much you took it out on that guy-thing-it-DOE.
Beautiful!! And the music is perfect for that gorgeous scenery!
Awesome video!! Love the scenery , deers, and music!
Beautiful colors and views. The deer was pretty friendly. The new Trail Family seems to be clicking nicely. Hike~~On~~>

Glad your ankle is better. Beautiful scenery and sunset. Looks like burn area is recovering with green shrub. Thanks for sharing.
Smoke in the sky can really effect intensify the colors in the sky. Gorgeous

Awesome job! The smoke from the fires might be what is bugging your throat. It doesn't take a lot to have a effect.
Remember the cold days, LETS GO!
would love to see the cat and dog reunion at the end of the hike
