I'm not from the UK but I am from a country where the age of consent is 16 and I just want to say that that *does not* obsolve someone of their actions if they're an adult interacting with someone under 18 years of age in a sexual manner. That is still a minor and it's still a crime. It's more so for the people around that age who are sexually active, not for the adults. So if a 16 yo is interacting sexually with like a 13 yo we have a problem bc they're not of the age of consent despite there only being a 3 year difference. Does that make sense? I might be wrong about the laws here but that's my understanding.

Encourage them to seek professional help. Don't stay in the relationship if the only reason for that is because you're afraid of what they might do to themselves. That just leads you to feel trapped and miserable. The other person doesn't need a relationship, they need therapy.

You don’t seem to understand the definition of the word coercion. Coercion just means forced in some capacity. Whether through violence or manipulation still coercion. Coercion is just a tactic of convincing that uses manipulation or otherwise some sort of force to either trick somebody into agreeing or forcing somebody into agreeing.
with regards to the age of consent, you can only morally shame them. You can't stop a 17 year old "talking" to with a 21 year old. I think you should and I think you should extend it down to even something like an 8 year old should not hang out with kids older than 10. It's the thing that breeds rebellious behaviour. And in essence that is why you can't do anything else other than morally shame them. Not only can you not put legal restrictions on a minor spending time with someone more than 2-4 years above their age, but even if you do they will find a way to evade that. It's what young people do. They find a way to disobey the rules. 12 year olds should be smoking or vaping. yet there they are on the corner of the street. They shouldn't be drinking, yet you have a worrying number of cases where they do. And it goes on. If there is a proximity between people of many ages, they will find a way to connect, which can go further down the line. And to top it all off... the only thing you can even do morally is shame the older person hoping they will be embarrassed and humiliated enough that the older people in the circumstance will avoid staying with younger people. And as most of us know adding restrictions to people just makes them seek out what is restricted more. One thing you could do is show people who are 21 or older that it can be much more interesting hanging out with people 2-6 years older than them. Discourage the behaviour that a loser 21 year old would wanna hang out with 16 year olds cuz they see him as cool, and encourage him to want to spend time with people 25-26 years old instead, to learn from them and develop. And that might be part of a potential solution to this thing that keeps happening. Also with regards to "groupie dating". You might be a bit biased on that one. not saying you are, but you can't be the one to defend it. "Please put hot water on iced windshields" - windshield manufacturing company, type deal. I am sure it can work and it has worked, but it's very finicky and you do risk a lot as the celebrity doing so. Heck, you're both risking a lot. It's not a problem outright, but it can be and maybe a way to think about it is "did we meet in a natural circumstance e.g. did you work with the person, did you meet them at university where you both go as students, etc". Just my logic. I do like the analysis you put out and you have a good point. It's pointless to legally lynch him ourselves since we don't have the information to do that, the power to do that legally, or the moral highground. But at the end of the day, all those just red flags you mention are enough to ruin a fans opinion of him completely. And he has been proven to be a complete jackass and a manipulator to both friends and partners. The other thing should really already be on police radar and be further analysed. And yes. we should all try to not use words we do not completely understand and just read the top definition from google in 5 seconds.

interesting how when theres no proof everyone tends to give the alleged accuser the benefit of the doubt rather than the alleged victim. the victim is always assumed to be the liar in these situations, while it's understandable sort of it keeps victims from ever speaking up.
It's listen to all victims for a reason. Papa listens an then decides if it's credible or not. Giving the benefit of the doubt to the alleged abuser is jus common courtesy. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty an that goes for both parties. If he comes out an says they're lying an has more proof for that then they do of him being who they accuse him of being then he's right in not only the eyes of the law but within public opinion. And giving him the right to a fair "trial", as it were, is the law as well. You can be overly supportive of these girls but without actual proof they didn't provide an actual reason why anyone should believe them. I think they're trying to say he is attracted to young barely legal even underage looking girls. He's 35 now. He was 30 or even under 30 when he blew up. So it's possible he was going after 18 year olds at the time because they were barely legal. There's no evidence provided here though.
These are allegations of old behavior so theres no knowing when it took place. There's no years provided.
@@celticlord88 But why did they write "most if his recent girlfriends..." then. The letter was written pretty recent is my understanding (1year or less).
@@celticlord88 or because he actually likes the adult we talking about ? If your talking about 17 and ,30 then yeah
OMG I loved watching him. This is so sad.
Sounds like Onision and Davey from Blood On the Dancefloor.
Can someone tell me what to do if when you try to break up with someone and they say I'll kill myself but they actually try to follow thru.and when you argue they cut their self?
give them the suicide hotline number and stop talking to them, it’s really shitty for them to do that though
just leave, they’re not ur responsibility
Encourage them to seek professional help. Don't stay in the relationship if the only reason for that is because you're afraid of what they might do to themselves. That just leads you to feel trapped and miserable. The other person doesn't need a relationship, they need therapy.
you should leave and then tell them you will call an ambulance and if you think they are going to do it, call an ambulance.
I’ve had this happen to me. I found out that threatening to call or actually calling an ambulance and a family member of theirs usually works.
You can try to encourage them to get some help. But because it’s being used in a manipulative tactic, I’m not sure how open they would be to this idea.
I feel like the allegations are probably fake and thats why he hasnt responded, but I hope I'm right.
Why do so many people like children 😅
pewdiepie must be shaking rn
@AdamCF is thatt not terrifying?
@AdamCF bruh u seen how the internet works. You and I dont know what he is thinking so there really isnt any grounds to debate. It is what it is just take the comment. LOL. All i know is if u have relations with someone who MIGHT be a pedo.. the internet can come for u.
I just know him from Pewdiepie and idubbz that’s how small his channle is in my opinion
I mean he was friends with cryaotic? I know it's alleged but just another point to it
You can never tell how close creator “friends” are, I’d argue most are friends on camera yet wouldn’t look to hang out outside of work.
Not gonna lie, that means absolutely nothing. Many people were friends with Cry and I'm fairly sure they're not all this shitty of people (allegedly).
@@henryjohnson1126 I'd say that about a lot of creators but cry probably wasn't one. On his Tumblr (an his ex cheys tumblr) they'd ralk about how their "UA-cam or streaming friends" where their friends an not jus online friends. No one in his audience knew what cry looked like but all his friends did. If he hung out in a vid more then once then yes, to cry, they were friends.
The only thing I will say is that not even the guy he was "best friends" with knew about his preditory behavior an he had direct irl contact with him. So what I'm trying to say is, being crys friend doesn't mean much since NO ONE knew what he was doing.
I'm sad that you gave jadyn publicity but thanks for covering this topic
Isn't this the guy that hung out with corpse b4 the face reveal?
I don't know how to feel about this, I never watch him or his content, so I don't know much about him. But I'm seeing red flags from him but also I'm not seeing any evidence just messages.
interesting how when theres no proof everyone tends to give the alleged accuser the benefit of the doubt rather than the alleged victim. the victim is always assumed to be the liar in these situations, while it's understandable sort of it keeps victims from ever speaking up.
So innocent until proven guilty doesn't exist to you orrrr
yeah because you shouldn't call someone a pedo and rapist with no proof??
@@aliensKR yeah because that is what I said LMAOO
As a survivor myself, your over reaction hurts us jus as much as false allegations.
Years ago another ex of his, Shonalika, who has a UA-cam channel, spoke up about how manipulative and gross he was towards them. They weren't a minor so it doesn't substantiate any of those claims but it is another independent report of him being manipulative years before this came out.
I think the videos are still on their channel if you are interested, they did a diss track to mimic the idubbbz one but it has some very serious themes (I think it was their way of processing it) and there was at least one video where they talk about it in detail.
He is a disgrace to my bloodline
I have the same name and relatives as him
@AdamCF true
hopefully it's fake because i used to watch and like him but if it's true may he rot in hell
