    Thanks for sharing about these products. I bought some perfect pearls, but had never seen them used. I read the comments below, and I have to say your hands looked fine to me. I didn't think much about them, but read those stupid comments about them being distracting. I did not think that, at all.

    You have helped me learn so many things. I can't wait to try each thing you demonstrate. You take the time to give each detail so that I don't get lost along the way and that really helps. Please keep up the good work, I still have a lot to learn.

    The last two commentors need to get a life. . .they sound very jealous to me. This nice person took the time to make this video and all you can do is comment on her fingernail polish. . .women are so catty and mean. . .There was absolutely no excuse for those last two comments. So "MsSlyvester69" and "rhodeislandbabe2000" you should be ashamed. I think you did a great job on the video and thank you for the time you spent doing it! Best, Curt

    I was triggered several times during this video! First was when you didn't put the lid back on the Perfect Pearls right after using it. Then when you used your heating tool with an open box of embossing powder right in front of it along with leaving your stamp pad uncovered and using the heating tool right where it could blow on it and dry it out. Gracious!

    Thx 4 the video. You saved me some money by not getting the perfect medium since I have all of his distress ink pads. I much prefer to do that on a folded sheet of paper then put the pearls back in its jar. However I did not know you could put a mist on the perfect pearls that's left over on the craft mat and use it on card stock. I don't like to waste anything. I'm not rich and or get stuff free like Tim Holtz. I watch his videos and he'll just wipe up all the usable ink on his mat like no big deal. lol.

    • @DonnaJo3452
      @DonnaJo3452 8 років тому +1

      When Tim's recording a video he usually says he doesn't waste leftover ink when he's crafting at home. He just doesn't want to take the time on the video to use the leftover ink. If you're crafting at home, by all means use the leftover ink! I'm taking his creative techniques online class and he encourages us to use what we have in our stash if possible instead of purchasing additional materials. He's the Creative Director for Ranger - not a salesman!

    I have been playing with my perfect pearls & am discouraged with them not setting. I used a mini mister as you showed & waved the piece through it 3 times. The next day the pearls still rubbed off on my finger. What am I missing & why did you not touch the finished pearls on the card to show us they were set? I have viewed other videos & they have been much the same. Pls advise. The pearls make a beautiful finish because they are so fine & pretty colors.

    lol I've read some of the comments and some are saying your too fast. Well they should try watching the frugalcrafter. Now she talks fast!! And she's high energy. I do agree though, that you don't show how to use the product with the original materials that all come with the Perfect Pearls. Maybe you should have explained what the perfect medium was for. Some people have to have a step by step instructions. But I did like the info. Thanks.

    I found this video very helpful......I enjoy your channel so much!! What is your most favorite ink when using perfect pearls? And, as far as color, which ones do you recommend in these powders? I have one tip that I've found to be useful......using a powder tool for embossing on my project before I lay down the perfect pearls. I find that the oils on our fingers can skew the results just like they can when embossing. I just learned that the hard way!!!LOL I appreciate any feedback, and again, I absolutely love your channel.

    Are Perfect Pearls the same as Magicals? I recently purchased a jar of Perfect Pearls, and a selection of Magicals. I know I can put a tiny amount of PP in a mini mister and give a pearly sheen on things, but the magicals look the same, although I haven't tried them with water. I've only seen them used drg with Versamark. Anyone can help me? Thanks.

      Teta Williams If you do not care for constructive criticism then you should not bother with reading other people's comments. People usually learn by what they miss as other people put the information out there.. I was not being ugly only truthful. Most adults can handle that. Most People!

      the comments that was made on other than learning a new technique are not necessary. it was not constructive it was ugly. people try to give some helpful information on their videos and if a person does not like the delivery, find another video. All videos are not for everyone and this was not the one for you. Click on!

      +L Anzaldo I know how you feel but she actually went really slow compared to others. It's not very kind of you to say it that way. I was watching Gothica Videos, OMG ! now she's very fast ! I complained and said great video but you went to damn fast ! I'm new to it and she had music on and no talking and she really didn't show what she used. I asked her and she was very nice to me and answered all my questions within a few hours to less than 24 hours. She also went to her blog and typed up everything she used on at least five videos that same day. I then took my comment that I said the video was too damn fast. Your comment wasn't constructive criticism it was just rude criticism. I think it's funny you were telling Teta most people can take criticism but obviously you can't either. Reply to me if you must. I don't go back n fourth and have a nasty debate over something stupid, I'll just not be commenting you back.

    Sheeesh. Why are (some) women soooo catty; it's like a few are perpetually stuck in Jr. High. Why they just sit around on UA-cam and look for a stranger to insult and hate on perplexes me. Women should build each other up, not tear them down. Online and OFFline. Thank you for the tutorial, I appreciate learning new ways to use Perfect Pearls. For some reason when I use them, they seem to rub off and not dry completely. Guess I'm doing something wrong.

      I could not have said this better -- it wastes OUR time and drains OUR energy and creative processes as well to have to sort through them for potentially good additions and input on the subject - if I had the time those people spend belittling everyone there wouldn't be a SINGLE incomplete craft project in my house and I would know EVERYTHING there is to know about ALL these products -- as it is by the time we weed through the insults and inappropriate postings we are too exhausted to even TRY the techniques - and Kalai, your comment and my reply will go totally unnoticed and/or unheeded by the very worms who need to hear them the most but I DO appreciate your taking the time to mention it. I WISH FACEBOOK WOULD HAVE A RATINGS SYSTEM FOR COMMENTS SOMETHING WE COULD JUST CLICK AND MARK IT AND ONCE A REMARK GOT JUST 10 CLICKS IN A CATEGORY IT WOULD BE PERMANENTLY DELETED AND ONCE AN ACCUMULATION OF POINTS BY ANY ONE PERSON EXCEEDED - SAY 20 DELETIONS THEY'D BE BANNED FROM MAKING REMARKS FOR SIX MONTHS - categories like off topic, inappropriate language (reserve the profanity & adult language for Biker, porn, beer & alcohol, perfect pot growing, mega meth lab methodology, even frat & sorority pages; allow critiquing but leave the kids & family out of it; no HATE speak whether on gender, race, religion, sexuality, etc. FACEBOOK DO US ALL A FAVOR you have some uber intelligent folks working there - figure this out and put it in beta testing. the newest intrusive 5 - 30 second ads should easily cover the cost of a beta run on something like this MUCH NEEDED service
