Some people have hard time getting time off on a friday to prepare for shabbat. What can we do if we are faced with such thing, so we can have time off and prepare. ❤❤

I've worked in hospitals for 10 years approx and I really just speak with my supervisor/boss/owner whoever and state very confidently ...(this is totally at your discretion..you may not want to include anyyyy other group but ). "you know how some of our staff are muslim and they have special needs ...well in my world we have something every week called Shabbat/Shabbos (and if you are just starting Shabbos "and I've/my family and I have started taking it on upon myself/ourselves)"...."I have options to make up for this time...coming in early, coordinating with a co worker to make sure all is ok before I leave at (2 or 3 pm) and sometimes in the past I've worked late on other days or come in early other days." This is a suggestion for someone who is just beginning to take on Shabbos (or more of Shabbos). " When I was hired, I stated, in my previous positions, there was no problem with me leaving a bit early on Friday or being off on our holidays. HR was always accommodating." NOte that I brought in HR...most companies don't want to be accused of possible HR offense. LOL (travel time home is a big factor for me so leaving early and prepping on thursday is good idea. Oh Sonya's prep on you tube is a working mom but she works in the frum world. Different story there. I now work for a Jewish group...wonderful to not have to navigate the holidays or fast days (which yes, I take off...Tisha B'Av/Yom Kippur for sure but even the short fast days) .. Shalom! I just wanted to tell you I love the Jewish people and Israel! As a Christian I would be nothing without the Jewish people, I am forever indebted. God chose the Jews to carry down the Scriptures generation after generation. I would never have even known of the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob as a Gentile. Shalom Shalom ✡️🙏 Our church was chosen by the Israeli Consulate of LA to fight antisemitism. We are having huge conference in a couple weeks to get the message out there and tell people the land belongs to the Jewish people! I’ve already reached out to Jews I know who live by me and offered my home should they need to flee from evil antisemitic people.
Shalom, we cannot return to the Father except through Yehoshua Messiah. Unfortunately, today many people are brought up with pride and hatred, let us pray for them that they will understand that what they are doing is destroying their lives and that they will teach the value of God's goodness and love in the Kadosh Ha Shem Yehoshua Ha Meshiach Amen
