- Homemade papdi chaat turned out absolutely delicious! The perfect blend of crispy, tangy, and spicy flavors in every bite.
Ingredients:
4-5 potatoes
Salt, to taste
Chili powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Chaat masala, 1 tsp
Chili sauce 1 tsp
Lemon juice, to taste Green onion, finely chopped
Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
Homemade papdi (please check one of my previous videos that I have posted for the recipe of papdi)
Yogurt, whisked
Green chutney
Tamarind chutney
Sev
Pomegranate seeds (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Potato Filling:
Boil the potatoes until they are tender. Allow them to cool, then peel and mash them.
Add salt, chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, chili sauce, and lemon juice to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.
Stir in the chopped green onion and fresh coriander leaves.
Adjust seasoning to taste and mix until well combined.
Assemble the Papdi Chaat:
Spread your homemade papdis in a large dish.
Place a spoonful of the potato filling on each papdi.
Garnish each papdi with a dollop of whisked yogurt, a drizzle of green chutney, and a drizzle of tamarind chutney.
Sprinkle sev generously over the top.
Add pomegranate seeds for an optional pop of color and flavor.
