Nothing against Janis Joplin because she was cool. But Piece Of My Heart was a SOUL song that was meant to sung like Erma and this woman here... Not screamed 🙂 But Janis recorded this song during the 60's Rock craze so it's understandable that certain people were drawn to it. Again, nothing against Janis because she was fantastic. But THIS is how Piece Of My Heart is supposed to be sung. I hope this little history lesson helped you put things into perspective 🙂
