Member Lean-In: Sustainable Architecture Awards Masterclass

This Lean-In showcases four of the projects recognised in last year's National Architecture Awards in the Sustainable Architecture category of the Victorian Chapter:
1. Glenroy Community Hub by DesignInc.
2. spring creek road farm house by architect brew koch.
3. Bendigo Law Courts by Wardle.
4. Nightingale Village by Architecture Architecture, Austin Maynard Architects, Breathe, Clare Cousins Architects, Hayball and Kennedy Nolan.
Each practice shares and expands upon their jury presentation from last year, including sharing strategies for pursuing best practice ESD in a wide range of typologies, and valuable lessons learnt. The presentations are followed by a Q&A session with each presenter.

Peter Brew

Simone Koch
Simone is keen to work from within a place, to discover what is immanent. This method engages with pre-existing mechanisms and by extension with the necessary enquiry of architecture.
Alexandra Morrison
Committed to sustainability and civic responsibility, Alexandra is Sustainability Leader at Wardle after initiating stewardship of the environmental systems and design processes within the practice.
Kieran Leong
Kieran is a Principal at DesignInc who seeks to create sustainable and regenerative environments which foster positive, meaningful experiences, interaction and connection.
Jeremy McLeod
Jeremy is the founding Director of Breathe, a studio of recognised by their peers as one of Australia’s leading architectural practices.
