Don't love the flex but love everything else. Maybe someone will make some 3d printed parts that can help with that once it starts getting into a lot of peoples hands :)
This thing is a fkn grand slam. It’s actually challenging trying to film a review while playing with it. We’re definitely sharing the same energy with this one bro! Great video.
@@cadenbarnfather1434 Motoblitz' biggest fault was being a Nerf brand blaster, really. Other than that, the underbarrel airtank shotgun, the bullpup configuration and smooth operation makes it a Joy to use. Even the price point is surprisingly good for what you get.
If this is what they can do for $30, I can't wait to see what their $40-50 blasters can do. I'm a little worried about the structural integrity (especially because slamfire is awesome), but you don't come across new bullpups all that often, let alone ones that hit that hard out of the box. I hope my Target stocks'em, and maybe a side-arm from the Pro line too?
No prob finding one at target being an exclusive and available stateside online if they are outta stock. Mine was pretty damn accurate too w the stock front sight elevation adjusted right
Something worth noting now that this blaster has been out for a while: If you want to buy one, you ABSOLUTELY MUST also buy a replacement plunger tube, like the metal ones sold on Out Of Darts. The stock plunger tube will crack or break in very little time at all--in my case, it cracked after probaly fewer than 200 shots, and some people have had theirs crack before they even get a chance to use the blaster. However, that change is really all it takes to make it a solid performer!
While short darts are objectively better for performance, I'll never not think that short dart mags look anything but ridiculous coming out of rifle-style blasters with how thin they are.
It honestly ruins the aesthetic of a rifle, where you have a brolic blaster with a lanky thin magazine LOL but it does work with smaller springers like unicorns and spamfs
Another W for X-Shot! Let's hope we get some different skins! This one has a definite cyberpunk ish feel to me and I love that but I'd want to see more for variety and personalization at wars. Great review boss.
I'm not usually excited by springers anymore, but bullpup, worker & dart zone compatible mags, adjustable stock, and only $30?!?! Yes please! I would probably buy all the catgirl skins too if they release that.
If you'd told anyone 10 years ago that X-Shot would make a better Longshot than Nerf, that was bullpup and hit 140fps nobody would have believed you. This is so cool! Thanks for showing it off!!! (To clarify, better 'stock' Longshot than Nerf)
The flex on that grip is a dealbreaker for me ngl. I'm personally sticking to my Dart Zone Pro Max Dictator, but I'm glad to see a nice entry-level option for those getting into "Pro-level" blasters.
@@Lenevor From what I hear, the picatinny rail underneath the grip is (seemingly) fragile. I also know there are certainly more competitive options to the Max Dictator, but I personally don't feel the need to get another blaster when the Dictator feels fine for me.
@@pootispickle4482 I understand why it may seem like a bad blaster at first I used to not like it either. The weird ergonomics put me off and the reload is something I don’t like. However you get used to the reload surprisingly and the performance of a dictator when modded gets really high. Like 220+ FPS high
Yeah, I just got two of them on sale for $38. That’s 19 apiece. That being said I really do not like the anime finish but with saving that kind of money, I just couldn’t resist
Just bought mine earlier this morning at a target just over 15 minutes from me. Have to say the bull pup design and paint job got me hooked. Not to mention having a considerably larger dart capacity than a nexus and max stryker and dont have to prime the blaster to insert or remove a magazine. Total win for zuru.
One very easy and cheap "mod" you can do for the sights is to shim the picatinny rail up top. took an old debit card I had lying around and clip very small pieces off of it. I then backed the screws out that hold the two pieces of rail together. Once I've done that, I slide the plastic shim in between at the front and the back of the rail. This spread this rail just enough where the sight makes a decent enough clamp on the rail and doesn't just fall off. I hope this helps anyone who wants to rock a stock Longshot.
I gotta say, I do still very much appreciate you adding the full length dart section on the chrono. I know they aren't super popular in any sort of competitive scene, but it's nice to have the reference point. If it's not a ton of trouble, it'd be nice to continue seeing those numbers when available in the future. Awesome video, glad to see this blaster is everything we wanted. Just hope the relatively thing plastic sides don't have a durability issue.
Love that you can get a 'pro' style blaster off store shelfs outside the US and canada. In Europe, we can't get dart zone so its lovley to finally get something
Great review, I got mine yesterday and had a blast putting it through its paces. I agree with everything you said in regards to its pro's and con's. I would rank it between the Max Stryker and the Dictator if you are comparing it to other mid-range blasters sold at Target. Now I want a mid-range flywheel blaster from X-Shot.
Oh ok, the quick explanation of chronograph and FPS along with citing the Elite par is just a thing you're doing, neat! Also need to get me one of these badly
I just picked one of these up at a car-boot-sale and found it had some dart matter jammed in it leaving it unable to fire. Took a bit of finagling but managed to extract it (that open top is a gift from god), still runs beautifully and it's original owners put yellow electrical tape on the grips and it just feels so good to use.
I bought mine today after seeing all the high praise reviews. My store had plenty in stock. This is my first X-Shot purchase and it did not disappoint. Great features and look. By far the most powerful foam dart shooter I own. Worth every penny of the $30. Hell, even at $50 I wouldn't complain.

Hey Walcom, I just got the Ragefire (the new Minigun) and man, it's a lot of fun. It's not that complex to use out of the box and really nails that play experience of being a mobile turret. you can use it without the tripod if you want to do you Terminator 2 role play but I can see it being uncomfortable if you use for to long like that. The only downside I have had with it this afternoon is that it's not compatible with the chain from the Crusher 9tha last minigun X-Shot made). The Ragefire chain is more or less the same but it has a piece of the side of the jacket (is that the right term?) cut out for the blasters launching mechanism. I think the Crusher chain would work if you cut out a similar sized piece but you'll have do it for every single one. Not a hard mod but definitely labor intensive.
