Ahsoka has ignited us with great intrigue! She’s the one character that surrounds a realm of possibility where even the sequels can be redeemed!
This trailer was well crafted in providing thought provoking visuals and awe inspiring thrills for any true Star Wars fan.
Rosario Dawson clearly fits as the iconic Ahsoka. Her Jedi Warrior form is looks more intact then ever as she faces off with new characters who a different form of darkness.
We even get teases of characters from the series “Rebels”, like Hera, Sabine, and Chopper. We didn’t mention seeing Ezra in the hologram but HE’S THERE!
There’s hope for the galaxy yet!

When Ahsoka said “Heir to the Empire” I LOST IT. That’s a reference to the Thrawn trilogy of novels from Legends which chronologically speaking, is around the same time as the Mandoverse

I just love your family!! You guys are so sharp and close knit! I just recently joined your channel, but was drawn to watch y'alls reactions to the Madalorian series, all the way back to season one's trailers. You kids were so young and have since matured into good looking adults. Both parents are so awesome and inclusive of everyone's opinions. I love you guys' sense of humor, especially some of the family games the kids played back in your younger years. I love watching the two younger kids compete against each other. I've even watched some of your earlier video skits. (Yes, I have no life)

Ahsoka is such a phenomenal duelist because of Anakin pushing her harder than anyone else in training. She anticipates the moves of her opponent before they make them, watching her fight in the height of her abilities is amazing
It was confirmed during the Ahsoka panel that Lars Mikkelsen will be playing Grand Admiral Thrawn. He was on stage with the rest of the cast. They showed an extended trailer to the audience where his face was shown. So extremely happy.
Hera Literally flying the Phantom 2 in that shot... At first I didn't catch that.. They're saving the ghost ship for later...lol and jacen Obviously the ship has to survive.. It was in rise of Skywalker

This was honestly my most anticipated series for a while now. Ever since the rumors were spreading that she had her own show, I felt it would be the best SW we'd see to date, even better than Mandalorian. Ahsoka's story is a gateway to so many interesting things, so I knew we'd see wild stuff in her show. I also knew that as soon as Thrawn's name was dropped in Mandalorian, and even more so after we saw them bring back Luke...that they were building to Heir to the Empire. People called me crazy for thinking they'd tackle those books and bring it to a modern version in live-action. Looks like I was right and they were wrong.
I know for a fact in my gut that this will lead to young Luke, Leia, Han, and the rest of the OT crew showing up and working alongside them. It will probably lead to a 3-part movie in theaters or at least a Thrawn event-level miniseries on Disney +. They will try to bring those books to life as accurately as possible, while modifying it to include Din, Ahsoka and crew, and possibly even Boba. This will be an Avengers Endgame level team-up for sure. Get ready to see that lizard on Thrawn's shoulder.

I also noticed the orange sabers and am wondering if maybe well be getting dark Jedi who will eventually become something more akin to grey Jedi due to Ahsoka's influence and start their own order with her as the master.
There were 3 dark Jedi. The girl, the older guy and then the guy/girl with the double bladed saber

The Guy with White Beard and Red Saber at 2:12 is Ray Stevenson aka Scott the main Antagonist in the Epic ACADEMY AWARD winning movie RRR. Loved him seeing in this trailer.

That older Force user with the fire orange saber reminds me of Emperor Valkorian from the Old Republic days. I wonder if he's descended from Arcann or Thexan, the Emperor's twin sons. Doubtful but that would be a neat back story to explore.

My guess is that the guy with the cool white beard is the Canon version of Cbaoth (the old dark jedi) from the thrawn trilogy. I'm so excited for this, loved the thrawn books when I was a kid they were my favourite star wars books.

The Heir of the Empire novels, Clone Wars and Rebel fans are living the time of their lives!
A few points of interest: We see a clear inspiration and homage to the original book series by Timothy Zahn, the so-called Thrawn trilogy from legends. In the trailer, Ahsoka even says the name of the first book, Heir of the Empire. Orange lightsabers are unprofessionally homemade, unstable, similar to Kylo Ren's. This is a reference to the Dark Forces Jedi Knight game series, where the dark Jedi cult had such swords. From this series, we could already see Dark Troopers used in The Mandalorian. Filoni is a big fan of Legends and uses the best of them in the canon. Dark Jedi - not inquisitors, there are speculations in the trailer that it will be Jorus C'Baoth and Mara Jade. We see Ezra for the first time on the hologram. Hera is the wife of Ewan McGregor :)
Looking forward to this series!! Plus, Grand Admiral Thrawn is going to be on this series! Now this, puts a smile on my face 😌

Cool reaction guys, yeah this series is going to be my most anticipated and possibly favorite show of all the Star Wars shows to date, i have invested so much time in watching the character of Ahsoka over the past 15 years, and am so excited for this show to drop.

Wtf!? No, that's Shin, Baylan's apprentice, the old knight looking guy with the white beard fighting Ahsoka. Shin's too young and short to be Mara, and Mara would be woth Talon Kard at this point, and not attacking a new republic ship with an orange ligthsaber, rocking white/blond hair, and goth makeup. Shin and Baylan look so cool by the way, Shin looks like a badass Anime character, Baylan looks like a Wise and powerful master knight, so hyped, just hope Lars Mikkelsen is playing Thrawn, but hope we get Mara, Talon Kard, Luke Han and Leia in Dave's movie, which is hipefully called heir to the empire.

I can't believe it's been over five years since Rebels ended and now the hopes and patience has paid off. I've been kinda turned off by Mando S3 but I have a lot of hopes for Ahsoka.
Great reaction! Regarding the Dark Jedi vs Sith, there -is- an old, Legends canon explanation to how there might be more Sith than just Palpatine and Vader. One of the last series of books to be published was known as Fate of the Jedi, which featured the Lost Tribe of the Sith -- a group of Sith that descended not from Bane's Sith, but from Naga Sadow's.
Rewatching Rebels or watching the show for the first time actually seems like a good idea since,as we see in the trailer,so many characters from that show,will come back in Ashoka :) IT looks so epic!

It seems the timeline is that it takes place right of return of the jedi but before the end of the last rebels episode.
Ahoska is not in white, Sabine does not have short hair and Hera doesn't have her spoiler around.

Even though Lucasfilm licensed the expanded universe books like "Heir to the Empire," Lucas did not care to keep up with what they doing and there were just a few rules for them. He has said that he never imagined for Luke to get married and have offspring. So with these shows and the trajectory, it looks as if they will do a sort of retread of that timeline but without the story elements of those books involving Luke, Han, and Leia.

Or something more sinister than Thrawn. At the end of Rebels, Ezra and the Purrgils took Thrawn and his fleet into the depths of unknown, uncharted space where presumably they've spent years. Thrawn is aware of greater threats like the Grysk Hegemony. That was one of the main reasons he joined up with the Galactic Empire.
My God, do you think those force users can be from the Imperial Harvest program, just like the birthday of Jedi master Eeth Koth's child should have been after Vader killed him and the Inquisitors took his daughter, so she should have been included there.
We saw something similar in Rebels and it was mentioned in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Show.
They were to become Imperial spies.
With basic skills and strength training.
Ps even more is the official confirmation of the orange color of the lightsaber Cal Kestis was the first and these are the next.
But I hope they will focus on the fact that, unlike other Imperials, Thrawn is not a villain.

That was a great comment about Dave Filoni and his style of not beating around the bush. He's just like, "Bam, here it is. What everyone is here for, right at the start." Not dancing around it, no trying to build it up, or hype it up, because he knows, there's no need to hype it up and frustrate audiences. They've waited long enough. In a way, he's kinda the anti J.J. Abrams, and I'm geniunely not trying to turn this into a Sequel bashing, but it's just an undeniable aspect of J.J.'s style where he's all about the mystery box and setting up question and question. Filoni is like nah, I'm not really interested in doing that, let's just have everything out in the open and take the story from there.

my theory is they are clones of the original jedi hence the color change since they are not natural which doesnt allow the red color
Dark Jedi are exactly who they are.
Sith and Dark Jedi are trained and molded differently.
some theorize they are somehwhat of an ''evolution" of the Sith and Jedi, giving rise to Grey Jedis, which havent been seen in thousands of years.
Others theorize that thoses are Agents of the New order, part of the knights of Ren, their mission probably being to destabilize the new republic before its arrival.
Thats assuming this happens around the same time as The Mandalorian, which many hints point that it does. namely the ''Heir to the Empire'' which makes sense AFTER Palpatine's death.
We sense a new age for Star Wars! New territory it seems…
