Nice video. I just came up with my own custom packaging using paperboard/chipboard, but it's for miniature houses (1:64 scale)- I've also doubled the packaging as a parts list and have some branding on it as well- it looks a lot like a Book, which was the intent- all with the laser. It was kinda fun testing how well it worked/protected the contents, I was throwing the package all around the house trying to break my test model for about 20 minutes, went outside, threw it as high in the air as i could- my cats were freaking out, it was some weird fun! Package was a bit beat up but everything inside was great, the model went together just as it should with no damage. Very similar method of packaging, just applied a bit differently :D

I’ve thrown things around as a test too 😁. Sounds like you’ve got packaging under control

Happy it was useful. Sometimes a little thought can save a bit of money in your business. This can take a little longer but the environment will thank you 😀

Thank you so much for all your videos! I am ready to buy a machine and use your code! Unfortunately, their customer service is horrible! I have been waiting for info on how to pay them for a Muse Core for 5 days! I have been in contact with one of their sales representatives and some of my questions were not even answered! I almost purchased a Glowforge Plus yesterday, because they have camera and auto focus and their chat team helped me right away with purchasing info. But of course I don’t want to be stuck with a machine that I can only use with the internet and in the cloud. I am so mad that I am almost giving up because the Glowforge is so much easier to use too! But your videos have been keeping on track to wait for the Muse! Online their price is higher then what they quoted me and I just need info on how to pay! Is it too hard? 😭 Something else, is the Muse faster than the GF? Also, what does it mean laser class 1 and laser class 3? Is it just safety or power too? Thank you!!

I think they are pretty busy, but it’s no excuse for terrible response times. Unfortunately I know only one or two people at FSL. I didn’t experience any payment issues myself though. I just ordered online and things went fine
As far as laser speeds, all 40-45W lasers will be roughly the same speed. This has more to do with power output than things like software. It’s simple physics! If you want “fast” you need power, and hence more money 🙂
Laser classes describe the relative hazard to you when you use the device. Something like a laser pointer will typically be Class 1. While las laser that is class 4 can cause you physical damage if you contact the beam. To answer your specific question it relates to both safety and power. Hello! Just the heads up! Someone finally replied this week! But then came back saying they couldn’t use your code. Then later saying I couldn’t buy the machine due to back order. I am in touch with the sales manager now and all worked out and I could even use your referral code! Thanks for the encouragement and the tips! Will be watching more of your videos now! 😊

@@anapaularochaschweitzer9901 Thanks for the info about my code. Did they say why you couldn't use my code?

I was dealing with the sales person. But when dealing with the sales manager I had no problems using your code! I didn’t deal with the sales person anymore! All worked out well and your code was used!! :)

You can go to your local box company and see if their design team will sell their lab stock sheets or give you scraps. I am a packaging designer for almost 30 years
