Do we need to remember that Thor needed Mjolnir to fight Kratos and while Zeus did create the Blade of Olympus he was fighting Kratos bare handed, Zeus is just fucking beast.

Kratos' plan to kill Zeus in God of War 2 by stabbing his heart with the blade of Olympus actually worked pretty good and Zeus was ensured dead meat there if Athena didn't sacrifice herself. Running for a 1 hr is a show of stamina. Getting punched in the face for two minutes while still asking for more is a show of Endurance. Endurance is essentially how much you can endure pain.
Uhh stamina most likely means the ability to keep going without or despite exhaustion from your own actions not others punching or kicking you , it doesn't take in account the exhaustion caused by an external source While endurance does exactly that and not regular exhaustion .
Lemme tell yall sum, kratos was holding back and still beat thor, kratos also no longer has the magic he had in Olympus, so its probably safe to assume if he wasn't holding back and had everything from Olympus it wouldn't have been much of a fight, Zeus stood with kratos (not holding back, with all his magic) 2 separate times and held his own for a substantial amount of time, and when kratos killed him he then came back in astral form, only reason kratos won was the power of hope, Zeus absolutely destroys thor, also those of you "thor killed kratos" Zeus killed kratos twice, ares killed him once, etc. Its really not much of a feat
Zeus killed Kratos once after he drained all his power into the blade of Olympus so true but that doesn’t really compare to a full on 1v1. Thor killed Norse Kratos who is far stronger and superior to Greek Kratos.

Zeus is more powerful but Kratos HIMSELF says in the notes of the game that Thor hits as hard as anything he’s ever felt. On top of that, Zeus never displayed strength on par with killing Kratos with one blow.

Remember that Kratos needed the Blade of Olympus to take away Zeus' immortality so he could kill him. That was the most powerful weapon we've seen in game. I'm pretty sure that would crack even Mjollnir. (The Blade of Olympus almost wiped out the Titans in a single slash lmaoo)

I think Zeus would rip apart Thor’s ass. Even when Thor fought the present Kratos, he probably hadn’t fought in decades and still held back so much that it’s possible he nerfed himself straight to GoW3 level since it’s only been 115-200 years after GoW3 (according to the official data book). When Kratos killed Zeus, he was at his prime yet he needed the power of hope, the blade of olympus, and every single buff he could stack onto himself just to go toe to toe with Zeus.

So here's what we know to be CANON. #1- Old Kratos would beat young Kratos in a fight. This is straight out of the mouth of Cory Barlog. So the fact that the Norse gods are giving old Kratos as much of a hard time as they are says something. Kratos didn't win his last fight against Baldur in a 1v1. He had Loki’s help. Same with the Odin fight. Odin killed Thor QUICKLY. I find it hard to believe that Kratos would win in a 1v1 against Odin. #2- according to Kratos himself via the God of War 2018 audio book, Baldur was his toughest fight yet (I'll find the timestamp eventually). And in Ragnorak, Kratos describes Thor's blows as being the hardest he has ever felt. Agree or disagree with the consistency of the writing, that's what is canon.

I agree with you for the most part but the part of him flying away once he saw a slight bit of old Kratos is a bit wrong, he wasn't trying to fight him to the death, he was only trying to test him to see if the tales of the Ghost of Sparta were fully true. Even in their final fight he says "this time I'm allowed to kill you". Ultimately didn't matter though since Kratos basically annihilated him during the Battle of Ragnarok 💀

Thor is physically stronger than zeus, I personally think the second fight vs Thor was really poorly executed and had absolutely 0 scale to the battle (like the baldur fight and the scale didn’t come close to comparing to the original GOW fights)

But current kratos being he is a Greek God of War he grows in power as he ages so current kratos idk about that one. In the 2018 and new GOW Ragnarok Kratos is holding back the entire time. Thor has LITERALLY NOTHING !! On Zeus, it took the concept HOPE itself to defeat Zeus as he was powered by the concept of FEAR. Plus GOW III Kratos was fully enraged all throughout holding NOTHING back, used all the powers he gathered from the sisters, titans, Athena, blade of Olympus, Hades, Helios, Hermes, Hercules, etc. Zeus took all of that head on and brought kratos close to death and HOPE kicked in, Thor got bodied by a barely enraged old kratos with morals, definitely holding back and still overpower Thor 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ I CAN ONLY DEDUCE THAT YOU’VE ONLY PLAYED GOW 4-5

So here's what we know to be CANON.
#1- Old Kratos would beat young Kratos in a fight. This is straight out of the mouth of Cory Barlog. So the fact that the Norse gods are giving old Kratos as much of a hard time as they are says something. Kratos didn't win his last fight against Baldur in a 1v1. He had Loki’s help. Same with the Odin fight. Odin killed Thor QUICKLY. I find it hard to believe that Kratos would win in a 1v1 against Odin.
#2- according to Kratos himself via the God of War 2018 audio book, Baldur was his toughest fight yet (I'll find the timestamp eventually). And in Ragnorak, Kratos describes Thor's blows as being the hardest he has ever felt. Agree or disagree with the consistency of the writing, that's what is canon.

I agree with you for the most part but the part of him flying away once he saw a slight bit of old Kratos is a bit wrong, he wasn't trying to fight him to the death, he was only trying to test him to see if the tales of the Ghost of Sparta were fully true. Even in their final fight he says "this time I'm allowed to kill you".
Ultimately didn't matter though since Kratos basically annihilated him during the Battle of Ragnarok 💀
