I think what you say is good,to live the moment ..but you have always to have a goal...because is what make you move and don´t fall sleep somewhere comfortable but where you are not happy or just you can´t grow up..,i began animation since 1998 and i think about myself as a student., i have a goal..the same as you had and i find myself closer. Is hard to reach and frustrating but never loose the faith..keep on learning keep on growing :) cheers!.

Hey, this is actually my first video from AnimDojo and I'm very impressed! I'm not an animator, but I'm interested in the art and I must say that this was a very honest and engaging clip so I hope you you keep up the good work!

I just started animation for the first time ever in Garry's Mod. This was the first thing that I found when I searched animation timelapse. I highly enjoy animating even if it were a lot of work, and the end result looked like trash. This video is a really nice life lesson, and I enjoyed listening to your story. Subscribed. By the way, great animation in the bg! Reminds me of Tracer from Overwatch.

Can please make more of these. Learning, Animating will continue on its own pace but there is not much about how an artist feels its more relatable when an animator speaks. I dont have age to speak about this but am sure a lot of people whats to hear something like this. I miss watching these vlogs and maya disection. Animdojo have changed and evolved alot. All the Best

This was great Bader - super relatable. I definitely feel those kinds of pressures as a new animator trying to get into the industry, and your perspective on it and sharing your career journey was really soothing. I also liked how when you got to the realization part of doing the best you can in the present, instead of focusing all on the future, was also when you did the first playblast where the animation really started to come together and looked alive - great timing haha, very inspiring! I'd personally love to see more vlogs like this :D

Thank you so much for sharing. The internal battles can often be the most draining. I've been trying for a while to 'make it' to the next phase of my career and I find myself panicking about time slipping by me. Panic breeds anxiety, and that becomes detrimental overall. To hear your perspective as someone that in essence I look up to, is encouraging and warming and is an extremely human quality that is often absent when trying to engage with certain parts/people of the industry.
    Thank you.

I enjoyed every single minute of this video, because the complete beginning explained my life too. I am in some kinda same situation but I think in an worser situatation. I am unemployed now for 5 years. I have a wife and three children. I have no chance at the moment to go some other part of the world. No money to pay any course and the most of the free tutorials are not telling everything exactly. But I think also like you said I keep dreaming. I liked very the spiritual side of your life. I think the same. But after 5 years of keep moving/thinking forward without big progress I am at the very End of giving up. Because of the familiy. Because of the money. Because of the negative feelings. I appreciate my wifes endurance with me but it´s getting worse every single day. I tried different type of courses but none of them were like I want that they should be and I don´t really know if AnimDojo is there different like you said. If it brings big knowledge to me. And is it for me payable? I dont´t really know. Everybody says that their courses are the greatest one. Maybe you can answer me. But beyond all of that what I typed, I really really thank you for this video. It was really more interesting hearig what you have to say instead of watching another timelapse Video. Regards Gercek T.

Now I produce music and artists think they are doing all the work and simply want a beat for free while I spend 25+ hours to make it.
    Now people just simply download
