You guys made me smile.. I certainly needed one . I am a newly widow and was having a couple of difficult days . I was thinking today about your podcast , wondering when you would have one .. yay…so enjoy you two😊. Thanks
So sorry for your loss. I know knitting podcasts have gotten me through lonely times. It’s like having friends in your home with conversations and laughs.
I love you ladies so much that I've started binge watching beginning with episode 1. It was an incredible episode! You looked liked you were doing pod casts forever! Two amazing ladies just sitting at a table chatting and enjoying each other and all of the yarn goodness. How much fun is that! I look forward to every episode Thank you!
One of my most anticipated and favorite podcasts! So happy when you pop up in my UA-cam feed… And I’m addicted to Never not knitting RI too, highly recommend that everyone binge watch if you’re not currently watching. 😅
Lori, I have decided to do the same baby blanket from Purl Soho , as you…. And yes I love it, but it is taking forever! We need to encourage each other!
Yay! A crochet WIP!! Love watching you ladies, regardless. Every project was sooo pretty! Y’all are TALENTED. Truly. Stay warm! It’s gross in Ohio, too 🥶 lol. Hugs!☺️🫶🏻🧶
My mystery drink would be a mango margarita or an Avenue N cosmo. 🍸 Great episode! Lori you are making great progress on all your WIPS. I want to make that cardigan. Justine that Bowie Blanket 😘Chef’s kiss!! Hope to see ya’ll today!
As a long-time crocheter all the way from Cranston ;) , I absolutely love a Chunky Boy Craft ergonomic crochet hook holder. They're made of squishy silicon and slide right on to your hook. Made my hand hurt way less, and made my tension so consistent and beautiful! Good luck with the Battenburg!
You girls are so fun to watch. Justine, loosen your grip on your crochet hook. Then you will speed up with less pain in your hands. It took me a long time to learn that with knit and crochet projects. ❤
Lori, you are making some awesome progress! I love seeing your long term projects! Justine, my hands/wrists hurt in beginning when I started knitting even but now it’s been a few months and they feel better. Just new muscles your body will get used to using.
Justine your Battenberg will be beautiful! And after you crotchet a bajillion little squares you will become a speed queen! All my love and prayers to our sweet Dawn♥️🙏🏻
If I don't comments as I listen along, I forget things to mention, LOL. Love the yarn winding trick, Justine, I AM going to try that... made me laugh. Lori, maybe your daughter will let you show photos of baby without showing the hands??? Little hands, little feet.. I am so excited and can't wait to hear of the birth. I'm laughing AGAIN over the hat and the facial photos by Justine and demo by Lori. So funny, so entertaining.... Cozy Comfort throw with Judy winning, hahahahahaha. Love that throw, it is on my list 'to do'. Love all you do ladies. sending love, hugs, prayers.
As always, you two are very entertaining! Thanks so much for answering my question about the cotton yarn and showing me what you have in the store. ❤ your selections are beautiful!
I love the Woven Cable Headband, it is a free pattern. It is knit flat and works with DK or Worsted weight. It's great for learning cables or I used it as a class at my lys for teaching cables without a cable needle.
Rewarded myself to sitting down to your podcast with a cup of coffee after cleaning the house 😊 You asked for suggestions of “new to you” yarns and I have a good one to suggest. Fyberspates Cumulous which is a suri alpaca/silk lace weight. I was looking for a solid lace suri and came across this one. It’s a 164 yd cake and gorgeous!! I did some math and it’s the same cost as a full size hank.
Justine- the blanket will be too big with all those mini skeins- I would test your crochet plan with the light gray- after making 4 colors of minis add the gray- measure the sample you create and plan the colors to use from all your minis. You can then plan the size you want and select which mini skeins to use for the blanket. It’s going to be beautiful! ❤
No create 5 squares of 4 mini colors. then crochet the gray center attaching the 4 colors all around - then measure--then plan the rest of the blanket! (Like making a swatch in knitting- but now you get a realistic size of how 4 sides plus a gray middle measures) and can plan how big and how many mini skeins you will need.
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! I will definitely get more of the dellaQ standing needle cases and when we do, we will post it on our socials and mention it on the podcast. 😃
Hi! I used to work at Love 2 Knit in East Greenwich, RI and I was on their podcast for a little while which was called The Yarn Shop Girls. Did you watch that? Thank you for watching ours!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
You inspired me to make a hat for my husband too! He’s never wanted anything hand knit-he runs hot but I showed him the hat, and. he. liked. it!!! 😂❤😂
That is s awesome, Danielle! Doesn't it make you feel so good? I miss you!!! Hope to see you soon! ❤❤❤

Justine, I think your Battenberg squares are perfect! You don’t need to change anything. The drape is lovely. Can’t wait to see it finished😊

@@TheSkeinScoopPodcast I’ve been a few years ago - it’s usually super hot and crowded so I usually avoid it!
Justine your blankets are just so pretty! 😊
Jason’s Cashmere hat by Melissa Thomson is a great beginner cable hat!
You’re right-that is a great hat, Sue. Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰
I love the Woven Cable Headband, it is a free pattern. It is knit flat and works with DK or Worsted weight. It's great for learning cables or I used it as a class at my lys for teaching cables without a cable needle.
What a great idea! I’ll have to check it out. Thank you so much! ❤❤❤
Forgot to say the pattern is by Priscillia Uloho.

Those bags look so so so good behind you guys. Good job.
Thanks, Kaitlyn!!! 😘😘😘
Question. Where is Justine’s, soft pink project bag from that holds the crochet squares? Thanks. Fun Vlog
It’s from the shop… it’s an Atenti bag. When we get more in stock we will share on IG and UA-cam! Thanks for watching

Love your energy and spark. See you soon! Justine, how wide is your cozy blanket?
Thank you!!! 🥰🥰🥰
