Shifting issues? How to reset your Transmission data 2012 Toyota Highlander

Good morning,
This is a quick video on resetting the transmission data on a 2012 highlander. every rebuild or solenoid replacement requires this to function properly. if this doesn't solve your shifting issues I recommend replacing the shift solenoids and resetting again.

Does that Xtool D8 have a place to enter the 60 digit transmission compensation code? I just put another transmission in my RAV4 and need to buy the correct scanner.

How did it go? Did you have to do anything else to it

It didn't fix what I was hoping for. Ill have to eventually replace the selonoids for 2-3

That’s because those cheap scanners do not reset them. Your tranny is shot. 😂
