Guess I should have watched this earlier. I’m over here just hanging out at maxed level 5. Didn’t even think about there being a benefit to rushing certain things.
I think the "units of some items will change as they accumulate" is that when you reach those levels certain items change amount of gained and you get to KEEP that amount for that certain item as you progress. So meaning when you reach those levels you get more from certain items. Meaning reaching those items amount is more important.
@@Snoken127it's simpler than that, its just saying the unit of measure will be abbreviated on screen if you have a lot of something. E.g. there's not enough screen space to show "1,000,000 paint cans", it'll just say "1M paint cans" and so on. (giga, tera, peta, exa, zetta,..., omegalul)

honestly this highwind mechanic is incredible. And Im super happy to see not just another expedition thing, but one that brings real utility and purpose to the game. This will really help boost up f2p or bad rng accounts to the current whale level (or low whale level anyway) while elevating whales to go level lol
highwind is cool and all, but until we see how they rerun events, that overboosting one might be a little hard on new players in the long term. the more events, the more potential weapons missed. i cant even imagine starting the game after those limit break banners. or after the crossovers etc. still a neat addition for passive collection bonus.
I got rare enemy early this morning with my rarity upgrade still set to 1. For me it was a freebie win vs 2 cactuar for 3 of the rare mat, and i believe 5k paint. This did earn me the rare mission clear as well to get the 20 rare mat.
The only thing I'd likely skip from OB'ing are those that give physical or magical attack. C weapon damage, HP, and defenses, all incredibly valuable! Getting a 3% extra def is probably not gonna be much on the 100 point base, but if it applies over final values, then that can make harder stuff like summon quests much more manageable!
One way to get lots of paint is just using lot of stamina. There are highwind missions like use 1000/2000/3000 stamina missions that give lots of paint when you reach each goal.
I think there is an argument to be made to not save the gas cans, if they give you early progress and allow you to upgrade faster then that makes up for getting less resources than in you horde them for later.
I split the difference and used half of them, am hoarding the other 5. 😆 I wonder how they'll give us more? They don't show up on item collection so far.
rarity seeker definitely helps, i been keeping all mine even, so im at 10 across the board, i woke up and had 2 rare battles, both were just cactuars that died in 1 hit and they dropped 5k paint cans per battle, and got 3 astrowinds each battle
So more info about Rare enermy encounters - they can appear when you Collect Exploration Items so not relating to when you level up your highwind level. The rewards seems to be quite big. At level 11 highwind, it gave me a rare battle that rewarded 5k paint.
what i want to know is, do the stats you get from those collection items in highwind that give attack magic and defense boost only apply to the fights in the highwind missions or do those stats also apply on any other modes?
Bro I just hope this Highwind give us more Weapon Parts, the Buffs are awesome! Just hope we can get more weapons parts now that we really need to evolve them for the buffs, if is just the characters gems, its gonna be so trash those rewards!
Hey Octo, appreciate the tips! I also have been focusing on paint cans but slowed down after I got the HP Collector Item (one of the best items imo) Regarding Rare Enemy encounters- there is a chance for it to happen AFTER you collect your rewards... This can happen as soon after collect just 1 exploration item! I bring this up b/c someone used one of their highwind boosters for testing and collected and got lucky enough to get a Rare Enemy to spawn! Now this begs the question, are rare enemy encounters tied to that "Item Units" information you brought up... Like if you collect 1 item *frame 1* as it appears, is that less efficient than building up a bigger "collection" of items..? Does that increase the chance of rare monster encounter? Hope we'll be able to find out soon! EDIT: Also, thanks for that "How to score high damage" tip at the end, super helpful!
Yea I just read that collecting gets you a rare spawn! I haven't gotten any rare spawns on both accounts yet sadly. The final stat and wording I believe is just wording for millions, billions etc. so we don't have to worry about it.
CID’s idea of fixing up the highwind is tearing over to Benjamin Moore and grabbing 500000 cans of paint. At this point, I don’t think there’s any metal left on the highwind. It’s just a floating blob of latex.
I just want to know what items are going to be collectable from highwind. Are we going to be able to get mythril ingots? Mythril? memory crystals? I have no idea, but if those things are possible then treasure rarity is going to be important sooner than maybe capacity
For me personally when it comes to the hard content having high HP is super important so the HP one. Then go for which ever ark your team is, physical or magical and dump into that.
The one hit max seems to be glitching or something. I hit for 200k plus every time and I’m not getting credit for it. It’s accepts some characters but not others wtf???

There is chance for Cactuars also. Which gives tons of Paint, Gil, and Memories.
@@akinamori1615 Cactuars ? how so ? and how do you have random encounters ? I'm at level 9 right now and only got scripted fights.

you can get enemies from collecting items. it say in the help for the highwind under airship battles (and collecting items may summon rare enemies)

Fire is definitely the way to go for the damage because you can ALSO use Crimson Flare to enable Ifrit to do even more damage.
I cant do Ifrit damage in the tower cause the boss dies before I fill the gauge! How can I do it?

I upped my rare items to lvl 6 and started seeing character memory crystals showing up.
So did you figure out the letter ranking system for the highwind?

I got a rare enemy from levelling up to 9 and 12. I’d wager there’s one at 15.
It's random because both my accounts didn't get one.
Oh, well then, back to the old drawing board!
My mistake, got mixed up with bosses; got another at 15. Rares appear while collecting though, so they’ll still happen after reaching 70

If it's aoe double check that a single enemy is getting 150k not the total at top left.
I'd have thought M Mega, G Giga, T Tera etc
The letters just mean instead of saying 10000000000000000000000 paint cans, it's 10T cans or whatever.
