- Perky Duck is a free emulator of the Perkins Brailler, which is a braille typewriter. The free software is easy to install and simple to use for typing braille on the computer using a QWERTY keyboard.
Perky Duck was created by Duxbury Systems and the name of the program is a blend of "Perkins Brailler" and "Duxbury".

I am not sure how to do that. You could try posting your question to my Facebook group called UEB Study Group. The group focuses on helping transcribers earn their national certification in the USA, but everyone is welcome to join.
So i can only type braille only in that app? is there any other way say i want to type braille in discord? Not that i expect a blind person to read it lol. I wonder what would talkback say?
I haven’t used discord. Can you install a font on discord? If so, you could type in braille using a braille font. My guess is that a screen reader would read the dot numbers.
