@@bladeboy2041 You are absolutely right! I am curious (no trolling!!!), but can you show us some bad areas, I want to compare. Some ideas what you can show: - public parks where hard drugs are openely sold - public outdoor pools with major brawling and riots - some rundown areas where places are falling apart in major cities - areas where people are "living" in tents and the street are littered with garbage - some vandalized public places - public places where lots of drug addicts have to waste away or any other bad places. Really interested, again not trolling I just want to see the bad places. Anything is welcome! Thanks!!!
It's not a good idea to try to go film "bad areas", and the curiosity of viewers is not worth it IMO. I am always showing Vancouver's West End, which is one of the nicest and most expensive Canadian neghbourhoods (it's not why i like it, but i moved there at 17 and fell in love... it's also one of the most inclusive places on Earth!) but i felt like i wasn't showing the whole picture, and one day i decied to go film in the Downtown Eastside, the place where there are homeless, drug addicts etc. In less than 2 minutes people wanted to beat me up, break my camera, insulting me etc. When i just wanted to "show" another side. These people don't want to be seen. They are in misery and pain. And come to think of it, they aren't circus animals to be filmed. Very very bad idea@@os7272 . Stay safe, Svetlana!
If you want to see drugs addicts go yourself in your own city, You will see how dangerous it is. They'll get really mad and you will be out of there in 30 seconds running for your life.@@os7272

I remember when Russia tried to warn my country about the Boston bombers (and we still did not react) - perhaps many in my country have forgotten - but I have not. Stay safe and well madam - you seem to be a beautiful lady inside and out.
We had the same chilly start in June in Finland so I know how you felt about taking out the winter clothes 😳I so enjoyed watching this video remembering our visit in May 2019 and how we planned coming back for another visit. Beautiful city with so much to see and do- hope I live long enough to see a possibility of returning. Have a lovely summer Svetlana😎🌞
This is my favourite video Svetlana of all the videos you have made on your channel. St. Petersburg is my favourite Russian city. I just like the cultural vibrancy. I have never been to the Hermitage which is my one time dream to visit. I have heard so many great things about the Hermitage especially their Faberge egg collection. Another place I would love to visit is the Peterhof Palace. It kind of reminds me of Schonbronn Palace in Vienna, Austria and the Palace of Versailles in France. Oh my goodness Svetlana, i just envy you at seeing the Peterhof palace 4 times.
Nice video! Peter is a very beautiful city! Have you heard of the OTTA- orchestra (композитора Ли Отта)? They play cool music with an ensemble of regional and classical instruments and put on a good show.
I agree about weekend crowds! Saturday is my house cleaning day because i hate crowds, and i try too film on Mondays or Tuesdays where the city is quieter 👍
It is better not to generalize the St. Petersburg weather to the whole of Russia, we have a heat of +35 +39 in the Urals for two weeks with almost no rain. Over the past few years, summers here and in Siberia have been unusually hot, not to mention the southern regions of our country. I think that soon many who used to be outraged by the weather in St. Pete will start going there for cool holidays just to refresh themselves and wait out the heat in their regions.
