USA Work and Travel 2015 WU-P

Rewind the moments where I do start.
When I heard the US of A Work and Travel program from our university, I didn't think twice to join because when I was a kid I'm dreaming that place so this is the time to grab the opportunity. After all I completed the process I'm so excited and little bit nervous because this is my 1st time to work abroad.

1st I thought that it would be hard to adjust for a new life because it is new environment, people, cultures and their traditions but as the time goes by I adopt the American way of life that makes me more confident to face new challenges in my life. Being independent is not new for me because when my college begins I experienced the way of being far from my family and do all the things by myself. No things are permanent in life so treasure everything.
WAT program gave me a once in a lifetime experience that molds my personality and became more mature in life. I met new people like my co J1 in different part of the Philippines and my Winn-dixie family that i considered my 2nd family. I learned a lot that makes me more competitive in life. I shared my skills to them like cooking so I'm the one who cooks for my coJ1 when we have parties etc. I'm very honored because they always say "Very delicious". By joining this program it has a negative and positive in life: Negative is you only have a temporary days to be with your friends and say Goodbye in the end! Positive is you have a chance to meet new people, environment, & places. I know the feeling what my parents do just to earn money because you have to sacrifice everything and I realize that we don't have to waste money for nothing because it's so hard to earn, Now I learned to value my money and spend it wisely.
Eventhough my work was far from my career I learned a lot of things as a worker because you have to know what you are doing, you have to love your work and you have to treat your customers with warm smile always, with this aspects you will succeed in your life goals. Don't just dream create a way to make your dream alive. Priceless experience that no one can replace and makes you a storyteller.
Thank you First Place Inc and AAG my for giving me the opportunity to live my dream and make out the best of it. My US summer adventure would not be awesome without you. 3 minutes video is not enough to share my wonderful experience in USof A.
And now i'm proud to say that I'm ready for my future and to face new challenges in my life. " A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination & hardwork "
