- How to install the Kimpex CNG1 (first generation Click & Go ) plow mounting bracket on an older Polaris Sportsman 500. Tools Needed: 1/2" wrench and 1/2" socket (or another wrench).
I had that same plow on my old atv. It held up great for the six years that I had it. The only thing (and it happens with all atv plows) is the cutting edge (wear bar) is made of real cheep steel so it wears out real fast. I went to my local steel and fabrication shop and had them cut me a length of real good quality steel for my cutting edge, and it will last for years. Keep an eye on your cutting edge if you're like me and don't use plow shoes.
Great info! Fortunately, I haven't had to use it much this year! lol! I do have the shoes on it because of the gravel driveway, but I'll keep an eye on the wear bar if I take them off. I never knew about that, so thanks! :)

Could you please tell me the measurement of the width where the bracket connects to the mount on the outer knobs there?

I bought it on eBay or Dennis Kirk. I bought the wrong type (CNG2) initially, returned it and had to buy this one somewhere else. I can't remember which place I got which though.

@@brankokeuris8609 I'm wondering if they don't make them anymore. I just looked around and wasn't able to find one listed anywhere. You might have to really dig for it. I think Kimpex is Canadian, you might give them a call & see if they have any suggestions. Good luck! I hope you can find one! :)
Is it standard mount? Fits all atvs?
No, you need to get the mount for your specific ATV. As far as I know, there are no totally universal mounts.
