Omg Ahww Some years ago I found a little mouse in the garden, he was all whet and he didn’t move at all. I kept him in a bin for I think two weeks.
I had a really strong like friendship with him. After the two weeks I removed the lid from the bin and put it in the garden so when he could jump so high, he would escape and get to his family again. I really missed him so thee weeks ago I got 3 gerbils! They are really sweet and cute. I got a tank for them about 52 gallons. I really miss dream :’) your videos are awesome and help me a lot with my animals. Tysm for all your videos!!

It's wonderful to see what you have done to help the harvest mice. So sad they don't live very long. Life is so cruel. But I was hoping we might get an up date on your guinea pigs. I'm hoping no news is good news. It's been a very hard time for you. May be you could update us on how the piggies are. I'm sure there are more people waiting to know how there are. The last Visio was so very sad, that you have left us in a cliff hanger, not knowing how things are. An up date would be good. Do you still have your rabbits. I hope you are keeping well and safe. Do harvest mice smell as bad as domesticated mice?
There is an odour, though quite mild generally. I'm not sue how it compares to fancy mice etc :)
You should always do research before you get a pet, but even more important if you have a partner who also wants a pet too. Certain animals don't live well together or may have a predator/prey relationship. You dont want to wake up in the morning and found the one has killed the other.

God is amazing!! They're just a miracle of God's Creation, look at their tails, just specific for their lifestyle and surroundings, like all of Creation. Animals are just wondrous, I'm much like you, animals fascinate me, and aside from their giving you so much to look at and wonder about, they're such wonderful stress relievers!

I used to have pet mice long time ago they are just like hamsters if not more cuter than them mice get a bad reputation for being a pest but in my opinion aren't all rodents even pet bunnies past?

Help, my gerbils are getting some boogers/scabbing on nose I believe from bedding so i tried switching brands but nothing changed. What is the best and safest bedding for gerbils??
I don’t have that much of experience with gerbils but for my gerbils I use cotton&carton and I mix it with a little tiny bit of regular sawdust. Also before I put the gerbils in their tank I first let it stand for a while so all the dust can just breathe a little I don’t know but maybe it will help.
@@veerles You should never use cotton with gerbils or any small rodents, it can block up their guts if they swallow it or wrap around limbs and cut off the blood supply! Also you shouldn't use sawdust because of the dust! Wood flakes are fine though, if it's kiln dried pine or Aspen.
Hemp based bedding is one of the safest choice for gerbils (from an allergen point of view), it's also good for making tunnels. The only problem with it is that in some US states you can't get it (or at least that was the case).

Mine use theirs more as a litter tray or to eat their feed in rather than to bathe in, but I think they enjoy the different textures :)
