- Retrofit Of The Audi SQ5 Sound Booster Pro (Active Sound) System! Drive Select Upgrade With Power Start Engine Roar
This is probably one of the best retrofits that we have done in the last few months. We upgraded this already awesome SQ5 with Sound Booster which not only gives you an incredible Power Start Roar but also allows you to choose from 6 Engine Note Tones as well as the ability to fine tune using the PC software. These profiles can be cycled using the included button or optional remote control.
Can Activate & De-Activate using the Audi MMI Drive Select.
Our Sound Booster Upgrade also works with these vehicles as well as many other Audi & VW vehicles (However some may require extra Exhaust Hardware to be fitted):

As long as you have the speaker pods pre-installed which is unlikely.
Why not just get a exhaust upgrade? I'm confused.
Because one may not always be available and doing this is much cheaper
And totally pointless. Besides you can't tell me this is cheaper then just cutting the mufflers and resonators off.

I'm confused so this is all software mod? How does it make the car sound like this through the vehicle speakers?
It has independent speakers.
Speaker comes out of the exhaust or from underneath the car. Some I’ve seen sit in the spare wheel well and the speaker is cut into the floor so the sound comes out of the correct place.
The speakers are literally in the tip of the exhaust pipe. It's gay as hell.
It needs to put out a warning every few minutes saying “this is just a speaker, this is a completely stock vehicle with low power output”

I personally would not do this because I would get a real exhaust but I understand a person that doesn’t know anything about cars buying this and thinking it’s cool or maybe an old guy who just wants to make his car sound a bit cooler.
I want a real exhaust on my a4 b9 tdi and I can't have it. They told me because adblue and other craps, it can't b done so they told me the only available option is this fake sound

I purchased 1 of these only to realise the speakers in my exhaust had blown. So I sent it back. I paid £380 to install some new speakers. I then purchased another kufatec sound booster which worked. After 3 minutes I took it back out my car and sent it back. The sounds are absolutely pathetic. Sound completely fake.
