Guitar tutorial for bellyache Billie Eilish! I am CONSTANTLY getting requests for more Billie Eilish songs, so I have been doing my absolute best to continue to deliver :) Bellyache is an AWESOME song for beginner guitarists to learn! All you will need to play bellyahce on guitar is 3 basic guitar chords (Am, C, and Em; I will have chord charts in the comments), and one beginner strum pattern! It is less about how long your fingers are and more about the position of your hand and your finger flexibility! Keep practicing and it will get easier, I promise! :D

Try thinking of drumming not strumming. If you play your strum like you are drumming, it comes a lot easier. Don't think it feel it.

Great question Nicky :) So the strings you strum are the bottom three strings (G,B,e) and for all but the last two strums you play 5th fret on all of those strings, and for the last two strums you play 5th fret on the G and B stings and 3rd fret on the high e! Hope that helps clear things up :)

Sure! Here is what you do for the quicker part of the Am chord :) So the strings you strum are the bottom three strings (G,B,e) and for all but the last two strums you play 5th fret on all of those strings, and for the last two strums you play 5th fret on the G and B stings and 3rd fret on the high e (very bottom string)! But here's one tip that someone taught me: using all the strings and NOT pressing down on them, with 4(?) Of your fingers, go: up, down, up, up, down. (Its hard to explain sorry T^T) it just makes a nice sound. When it sounds about right, you can decide If you want to press down on a string to change the sound on it. Then try again, up down, up, up, down.

I think that with the last Em chord the final high note is slightly higher than it is in your tutorial, but still a really good tutorial!

Try using an online tuner I lucked out tho my guitar has a tuner on it cause its electric acoustic but I still use an online one to make sure the timing is correct

I like your tutorial. I have a couple of questions. For the bridge part, you say that the plucking pattern is Base Note, D string but you’re plucking the G string? Is it supposed to be G not D? And is it possible to get tabs for this specific version somewhere?
The high notes on the second measure on Em its actually XXX987 or X79987

I dont know if you'll see this but I have a question. In her Nylon performance, her brother does this progression before transitioning from Em to C during the chorus.
