Coincidentally bought the same tail tidy for the same bike and found this video. Thank you very much, it was very helpful! I’m happy to inform you that they were listening and changed that bit into black instead of silver. To put the indicators into those holes was an absolute nightmare. I had to modify the right side a little. Maybe the coating was a bit thick but was simply impossible to put the indicator into that hole. Thanks again, ride safe!
Thanks for your video. Helped choosing a tail tidy and was a huge help fitting it. Definitely saved me a lot of time. Bracket now comes with no inserts to worry about and spacer is black as you suggested. Cheers
You sure are correct regarding the indicators what a pain , i used a heat gun to soften the rubber and it helped a lot getting these to fit into the jtech mount with the supplied spacer plates .The spacer plates are black now .
To help instal the indicators back in use a vice to hold the tail tidy, wrap a cloth around the tail tidy for where it fits into the vice and you can push and pull a lot harder and leaves both hands free to work
Mine has just come in the post, so glad you made this video to follow, I was also surprised they have no fitting instructions! Did you say the shrink tape came with the kit? If not can you send a link to where you got yours? thanks for putting that together
@@MOTOUK1 Ok I did this at the weekend and OMG! Putting the indicators on the new tail tidy was almost impossible, I was about to put the whole thing in the bin!!! I used a knife like you did and cut my finger in the process, there has to be a better way to do that, it's fine now its on but still not sitting perfect in the new tail tidy, thanks again for making the video it made the process a little better and the product looks good but fitting was just nuts!
Omg if i would know before how hard it is to install the indicators i would buy another kit ..... one advice preheat the rubber on indicators...tnx for the video your were a big help ;)
fucking spitting feathers here. bought one of these for my mt09. even bought brand new toreu wrench and socket set especially for doing this. finally got to bolting the tidy up onto the base plate and it doesnt fucking fit.....!! its the two parts they sent me, they dont actually meet up. and the license plate light has come off because it was sent with the two smallest screws in the world and they are just feeble. oh and the holes for the license plate itself are too wide for mine so ive had to just do the plastic screws up skew wiff, god knows how long theyre gonna last. and the tidy is currently hanging on by one set of bolts on one side. im fucking fuming. they can pay to have all this rectified im not doing it.
Ok so if you watch my fitting video make sure you put the indicators on right sides as mine are now upside down 😂😂😂👍

Your welcome and glad to see they changed a little 👍
These are great. Have one on my R1 and my MT10, fitted them on another 4 MT10s. All with aftermarket indicators.
For the money you can’t go wrong, mines 3 years old now and no corrosion

All looks ok when done though 😂👍
Thanks for the video, very helpful. Warming the indicators first made them a lot easier to fit!

Haha they are tight right 👍
Did you have to de-burr the indicator holes after removing the inserts?
No need to up to you really but it wont damage the plastic rubber going into it.
Am I right in thinking the more expensive kits are a hell of a lot easier to fit? Like to spend more time riding that messing about.
This kit is the same as all and easy to fit. Also you still get the seat key access 👍
The signals are up side down now :)
Haha you noticed 😂😂😂
Evotech is very good product & easy to fit download instructions to fit
And £80 more
