I played a few games of MTG with my cousin about 15 years ago and I just couldn't wrap my head around it. A bunch of people I work with play and convinced me to jump in on Foundations and I have been having a decent time, until I found your videos, now I'm starting to wrap my head around getting out of the basic mono decks and I'm having a blast. You're awesome and I really appreciate what you and a lot of people in the community do. Please keep it up and I hope you're doing well.
i love the new chandra. i run her in a medium range mono red deck with koth and boilbilges. also got some terror of the peaks and forge action in that deck with a bunch of low cost removal. using chandras plus 2 on a boilbilges feels so OP lol a whol lot of damage
@PowrDragn i remember watching your first koma video with the realease of foundations. this deck in this video is a better version of that past deck. You should give it a try to primeval Bounty it add much value in the long term.
Often a large ill-timed explosion. Or leave counter mana available. Sometimes use a Fire of Victory to destroy what they reanimate. There are options, but that deck can always be a tough matchup for any deck if they get a hot start.
It can be a fun deck, but you have to absolutely get lucky to win consistently. It has absolutely no answers for enchantments, which absolutely screws you vs the slower decks, and doesn't have enough answers for the fast decks. I went 2-12 with this deck and lost to absolutely every style of deck.
We definitely had different experiences with the deck. Though, that happens sometimes. I know I've seen others crush with a deck and I can't buy a win with it. I'm sure there are lots of factors that affect those things. But that also the reason I put a bunch of different stuff on the channel. Everyone should be able to find the thing that's their jam and works for them.

Thanks! I'm glad you're having fun, keep at it. Awesome that I can help the discovery process.

Yeah, it's tough to play because of h er cost, but if she lives, you get to do so many things with every ability.
Great Content (again!)
Looks like a fun deck!
"Chanda's like, 'No, I gotcha Fam.'" 😂
Hey, she had out back. :)
Not even gonna lie ever since you pointed out to q command I’ve been using that so much
Sometimes it's the small things.
I will give this deck a try, iam playing a version with etaly and vorinclex.
Those are good hits to ramp toward also.

Awesome deck. How do you deal with the oculus and reanimator decks?

"And, Llanowar Elves. I know you don't usually see this in ramp decks.." BRUH! Elves are the RAMP. :P
Not in midrange type ramp decks usually. Folks don't want to lose their own creature to Brotherhoods End and Explosion.
Elves are great for early ramp, but can struggle for ramping for slower decks, since creatures are easier to remove than land-based ramp.
I run a very similar deck that is a RG variant
