I remember the first time I saw the new property. An empty vista just waiting for Jason & Brooke to work their magic. What an amazing vision they have brought into reality.
Some of the first videos I saw were right before they moved. The farm is a completely different place now! I love it, I was born in Selma Al Sept 2, 1963.

You can plant daffodils, irises and day lilies in the same area because they bloom at different times. Intermingle them.
Brooke planted daffodils along the road that will give a great showing.

I wish you could plant Day Lilies. They come in numerous colors and they are beautiful. Irises are brilliant in color. Purple is my favorite. The two tone purple Irises are stunning.❤💯👍I loved the tour of the farm. Everything looks great. Good job!
Iris and daylilies do wonderfully in zone 8. I had over 100 of both at my old house. I love daylilies the best.
They are beautiful and a brand new surprise every single day. I planted a pack of mixed day lilies they were so beautiful. But sad they only last for 1 day.
I love your farm. You have it set up to where all of your animals have plenty of space. And I like how you have your gardens all set up. I’m really happy that you and Brooke are creating your farm the way you want.

I was fortunate enough to be raised by my grandparents on a hundred acre farm in North Georgia, this sure brings back memories, loved it all, especially sweet Holly !

Great tour! We had goats as part of our 'gardening crew' in SC - Didn't have all 11 acres fenced, so trained our 3 goats to wear halters, then had lightweight chains (that weren't edible) so we could put them in an area for the morning... Our 3 did a wonderful job on kudzu and wisteria, so I'm thinking that if some of yours would be willing to work on halters, they'd help with your invasive privet.

You might want to protect the trunk of the tree in the new buck pasture. I had goats that ate the bark off of anything that wasn't an evergreen.
sounds like those goats need to be all over the property to clean up the privet, they did such a good job on the pasture

I struggle with this because I have worked hard all my life and always made my own way. I grew up in a farm family and have always been active in the garden, the field etc and now not so much. Thank you, Jason. You did a really, really good job of explaining the layout of your property. I've been watching you since way before you moved to the new property and I was a bit confused on where things were in relation to the road. I see you moved the bees from where Moody is going to be moved to over to where you are going to have your pecan trees. I didn't know you had done that. You have done so much in two years It's unbelievable. It looks like you've lived there years and years.
I think the only thing you forgot( (and I know where it is so it was not confusing at all) was the farm stand. I wonder how all the decorations out there is looking.
