My condolences to you and your SO on the loss of his parents. My Mother was born on the Isle of Wight a long time ago right before WWII. And it just so happens that she used to raise and show German Shepherds. Wonderful dogs. That is a beautiful kit. Wonderful project. Thank you for sharing.

I have really missed you darlin and am so sorry for your husband’s loss, my sincerest condolences. So pleased you had such a healing time away. I somehow knew you had shepherds! Their bark is unique! I love them, my son has a white Swiss shepherd and he’s such a sweetheart! They’re such loyal dogs.

Hi Tony, welcome back. Firstly, may i say I'm extending my sincerest condolences to your partner after the loss of his parents. That's a really hard place to be for him. I lost my mom last September and I literally had trouble breathing if I didn't know exactly what my Daddy and Bonus mom were doing at all times. I can't imagine the hurt he's going through. I'm extending my condolences to you also. I'm sure it's been pretty hard for you too! Im glad y'all were able to get away and hope that the trip has help y'alls hearts start to beat normally again. We missed you but everyone deserves a break now and then. Now i gotta find those cellophane vids. TFS 😊
Ohh sweetheart I'm so sorry for your loss sending you healing strength ♥️ it's so hard to see him not know what to do with himself utter heartbreak I knew the only thing to help him heal a little was the Isle of Wight he absolutely loves it there so we booked on Wednesday and left of Friday and it was perfect so calm and chilled ♥️
@CraftyDecorbyToni thank you! I'm sure glad y'all were able to get away. Getting out of your regular routine is helpful sometimes. I know that I couldn't craft for nearly 7 months. That was one thing we both loved to do. And it was the one thing I couldn't do. So that was real hard. I still find it incredibly hard to stitch. I know it's a mind thing but, I think that was the reason why I couldn't craft is because it's something I do to get my mind off my pain and day to day troubles. It's probably going to take him some time to get back to where he was emotionally. Just be there for him as much as you can and if he's lost interest in the day to day. Just give him time. He'll eventually be able to process his grief. I'm praying for peace and healing thoughts for both of you!
@@kimberleymaloy1728 I totally understand that sweetheart after my sister was killed I literally couldn't listen to music or watch certain films it just hurt too much, so I completely understand going back to something that you both shared is so hard ♥️

On another note: you can use Art Glitter glue to stick down acetate and tape, etc. The thing you need to do is smash it down with a paper towel, or your bone folder, whatever… it works. You won’t see it.
