LINKIN PARK "Lost in the Echo" is INSANE!!
Lost In The Echo is one of my all time favourite Linkin Park songs. Chester was one talented man that the world will never forget
He was good I totally forgot about him
@@DR.DisInfect I'll never forget Chester
@@mozzaquinnMe too :)
I think sometimes about him, when i was listening LP songs or Mike songs :)
@patrykkuniczak2516 I think about Chester daily, I started listening to Linkin Park when I was 11 in 2016 I'm 19 now
@@mozzaquinn11 + 7 is 18 :) but it's possible, if you're start to listening before birthday and then pass 12 ;)
I start when i was about 10/11 years old, now i have 23, quick calculation i was started to listening on 2010, yeah it's possible cause i remember the Castel of Glass is new song when i was starting to listening, and it's release on 2012.
Fun fact: Back in the day when this video was first released there was an interactive version of it. I remember I needed to link my facebook account while watching this video on LP's own website or a seperate one. What happened is that the pictures those people are looking at would actually be pictures taken from your facebook profile.
Yes! I was about to point that! But i knew it is already somewhere in the comments! I liked these interactive videos but they are not available anymore sadly.
Yes I came here to say this too! It was pretty neat.
This brought back some hilarious memories.
Mine was filled with memes, demotivational posters and some hilarious greentext screenshot stories.
x2 HAHAHAHA@@misot90
I was about to comment the same thing! It was amazing
Glad to see this era of Linkin Park getting some love! Living Things was vastly underrated
As were many of their albums.
I totally agree, i remember seeing so much hate bc they did not sound like "old linkin park" or "they are not heavy anymore" etc, but i remember listening this album as a teenager and it hitting me as hard as older albums, never understood the hate
That album reminds me of my first year of college in 2012. Good fucking times.
Probably most unrated album 1000 sun tho but it's loved by hradcore fans
That's true. I actually have a copy of Living Things too. This was one of the albums I listened to as I really dove into Linkin Park and their music. That, Minutes to Midnight, and A Thousand Suns. Those were the main 3 albums I listened to when I was in that phase back in high school.
This whole album in its entirety deserves a reaction. Victimized, Castle of Glass, Powerless, In My Remains, Until it Breaks - this album has so much range!!
powerless is such a beautiful song
Finally...my favorite Linkin Park track in their entire discography. This is very closely followed by Castle of Glass. A lot of people don't seem to love the Living Things album, but it's one of the few albums I still listen to all the time.
I feel that living things was their back to form album. It follows great with hybrid, and meteora.
Castle of glass is fantastic ❤
Castle of Glass brings me back... I forgot how much I loved that song thanks for reminding me about it 😊
Bro I can related. I love hyrid and meteora a lot but when I got to living things I got stuck 🔥
Mike definitely showcases his rapping ability extensively in this song! Straight 🔥
LIVING THINGS is just so underrated album man
A tad overated but a great album
Yes, yes it is.
Mike was popping on this track, slyly some of his most underrated verses
One of the best songs from LP, hands down. Another gem that shows the chemistry Chester and Mike had together.
Living Things is a weird mix of techno dubstep with folk music. But hidden in the album are some deep songs overlooked by many like In My Remains, I'll Be Gone, Roads Untraveled and Powerless. Underrated album.
I think your Linkin Park reactions are my favorite. Not only because Linkin Park is home to me but you watch someone in like real time feel everything for the first time ! You’re eating the chip dipped in salsa !!! This band is therapy to me .. like literal medicine. Chester’s passing has left a massive hole in my soul that won’t ever be repaired but I try and find peace knowing he’s happy and not suffering and he’s watching us today knowing we still rock out to him we make him proud everyday and we work hard to make sure our demons don’t get us ! Chester is my reason for staying alive ( I know that’s dark ) but I owe it to him to keep his legacy alive xo thank you Alex for this reaction ! You get it xo
You made me cry man😢
Linkin park is home, yes it is🤘🥲💔
LP had their shit together, totally professional and so awesome live, they are and were #1
Before "Lost" came out I have forgotten what hearing a new Linkin Park song feels like and being remembered of that feeling makes me happy for anyone that gets to experience those songs for the first time.
Hey Alex! Please, please, PLEASE do a full album reaction of LP’s A Thousand Suns! You will not regret it. It’s their 4th album and the concept is amazing and unique.
Also, the Twitch idea is really great!
(Please like so Alex see this)
What a great album!!
I love that album
I honestly didn’t like it when I first heard it, being 9 years old at the time. But as I grew older and actually started to understand the meaning behind the lyrics, now I love it!
I was 13 years when i listened ats for first time and i like it since the first moment. Sorry if my english is not good, i speak spanish
Igualmente hablo español🙏🏾 Soy de Puerto Rico🇵🇷
There is a song called "Primo" which is a demo version of "I'll be gone" from Living Things. If you hear that song you feel so sorry for Chester because it kinda seems like a goodbye letter from him. "i'll be gone" is great too but that demo version hits even harder in the feels and is musically a masterpiece as well.
Oh yes😢😢😢
Primo is such a powerful song, it feels more real, not saying the official one is dope, just now I prefer the Primo one.
Love every song they made. This band will forever be the only band I love honestly because their music saved me from so much as kid❤❤❤
This song hits differently now that Chester is gone.........😢
This song takes me straight back to photography class listening to LP constantly. I love how I can not listen to a song by them for years then remember every single word. Fuck man… I miss LP. They helped so much for so many. But I’m glad Chester isn’t in pain anymore.
you're glad... he's gone? Chester is not free, he's fucking dead.
Look, I know where you're coming from but man, that is some bad wording. It sounds like you're glorifying suicide.
Back when this album was first released, Linkin Park did the coolest thing with this video; in the official video you can see the pictures are of people in the video, but they had a website where you could sort of link your Facebook photos to the video and your pictures on FB would show up in the video in place of the pictures. It was really cool; I don't remember the website anymore or I'd link to it (I also don't know if it would work anymore anyway), but it was a really fascinating way to get their fans to be sort of a part of one of their videos. I've never seen anyone else do anything similar.
I really think you should do a react to the whole Living Things album; as others have said, it's one of their more underrated albums but is one that has some absolutely AMAZING songs on it. Some of my favorite LP songs have been from that album. Truthfully I love just about everything LP ever did (they're one of the only bands where I can honestly say I like every single song I've heard; some more than others, true, but I still like everything), but Living Things has some of the best LP songs they've ever released. Between "Lost in the Echo", "Lies Greed Misery", "I'll Be Gone", "Castle of Glass", and "Powerless", not to mention the other songs on the album, it's an absolutely stunning album.
There's a song (of the angry ones) called White Noise, which was used as part of the soundtrack for a movie that Joe Hanh (LP's dj) directed. It's raw and it's heavy, it's awesome (both the song and the movie)
This needs more likes. Barely found it a few weeks ago and fell in love with its rawness!
@@ultralink17 yes, it's like, not even in The Hunting Party they have a song similar to that
It's still hits different hearing Chester. This song hits so different
I have lived an incredibly difficult life and Linkin Parks music got me through so much in my younger years. Chester’s passing hit me in a way nothing else has. He is sorely missed.
You should check either "Keys to the Kingdom" or "Guilty all the Same", both from the most underrated record of their career, in my opinion.
Love your reaction videos, man. Keep up the good work ❤
He already listened to Guilty All the Same.
@@harishsubramanian1241 cool! Maybe I haven't checked it out yet, at least I don't remember if I did
LP were always genius. I will probably never stop loving them so much. For me it simply is the best band. Period
Best band ever
I'll be 68 in a couple of months, and I can never pick just one song of LP's that I can say is my favorite. Every time I try, I think "but wait, what about..." All I really know is that no matter what song I'm listening to, I often find myself crying. It's like no matter what the song is about, or what I'm going through at the moment, I feel the song and Chester's voice deep in my chest and it's filling it up and wanting to burst out. I can never come up with words that actually explain "why", all I can do is love it and cry.
One can not simply not have heard this masterpiece.
top 3 best songs of all time for me. this song is so powerful.
i also hadn't known that the dead were the people in the building. the photos they hold are the people THEY are holding onto and can't let go of.
Knowing Chester is not with us anymore makes this song even more emotional. Its so hard to listen to this song watching the music video today, but its something you just can't stop listening too. I cried during this video, and yes please do make more Linkin Park reaction videos
This song broke me when I lost my beloved. My being here now is only because a friend showed up as I had not been around or on fone. I struggle with being here everyday as I want to go with them.
I love it when you listen to a new LP song. You are so true, genuine and on point each time. Seeing you channeling all the emotions that a LP song can create is amazing and comforting. I miss Chester and the guys ❤
So tear jerking and that first scream smacked me in the face. Love this song
One fun fact i remember about this music video: Back when LP released it, they opened up a special website where you could upload your pictures or the picture of a loved one, and when you finished uploading the pictures, the video would start playing, but the pictures seen on the music videos would be the ones we uploaded, instead of the ones that are on this album. That was pretty cool.
Was looking for this comment. I thought I remembered something like this too!
Love that you reacted to this one! Some suggestions for reactions would be you reacting to The Living Things Album, and Mike Shinoda just released a new song called “Already Over”
Linkin Park Forever!
"It doesn't sound like a Linkin Park song" But that's exactly what makes it a Linkin Park song. That's what makes Linkin Park so unique.
A Thousand Suns whole album listen would be amazing! Great album, which is so unique. Robot Boy and Blackout are stands outs for me.
I LOVE THAT YOU WENT BACK AND LISTENED TO THAT PART AGAIN!!! You should WATCH IT LIVE!!!! Southside festival Linkin park 2017! Months or maybe even days before he passed away!
this has always been and always will be my favorite from them. linkin park was my escape from my life whe i was a kid. they mean so much to me i know almost all there songs by heart....thank you for this
I remember when they released this song. They made a website where you could log on with your facebook account, and it would use your own pictures.. was fun to see people turn to dust from a picture of your cat or spagetti bowls! Some LORE for you guys! :)
This song was my favourite from that album, had it on repeat when it first come out
This is absolutely relationship between the family longings with each other❤❤❤
Linkin park forever and always, I listen to there music everyday ❤❤
So much appreciation for you valuing / revisiting the end of this track. Such an emotional finish to a song. Thanks for recognizing it, Alex. Love your channel.
One of my favorites songs from Living Things ❤❤❤
When I was watching your video, I spent most of your video in tears remembering people in my life who died in the last 3 years. I lost a dear friend only 4 months ago. You just got another subscriber. My husband also watched the video with me & broke down in tears remembering his best friend who died last spring. It is a very powerful song. I also recommend 'Miss You ' by W.A.S.P., unless you already covered it.
Lost In the Echo is like for sure one of my top 5 songs of Linkin Park. I remember excitedly awaiting the LIVING THINGS album release in 2012 back when I was still in high school (jeez). Hearing the intro of this was MINDBLOWING as a 17 year old, I would go back and experience this song again for the first time if I could !!!
I sold everything to go on a road trip to try to find where I belong. Somewhere in Romania I discovered "No Roads Left". The song nails a wandering traveler's spirit; the fear, loneliness, confusion, self-doubt, feeling left behind, and yet lack of regret. This band should get an honorary psychology degree.
-Fun- time fact: it has been just as long between now and the release of Living Things (LITE) as the 12 years between Living Things and Hybrid Theory... also, it's been almost 7 years since the release of One More Light, much longer than the time between any of LP's studio albums. :')
The way I interpret this music video is is the people who hold the photos are spirits of the ones who've already passed away, remembering the ones they had to leave behind - hence the person from image looks bit different/older.
They come out of hiding when the guy with pictures of thier loved ones shows up, and the song is sung from the perspective these spirits are making the promise to find peace after one last glance at their loved ones. Thats why the why crumble to dust in the end.
The line "One last lie I can see through - this time I'll finally let you go." hits especially hard in this conext because the spirots were wandering restless until that point - 'living' a lie pretending to be at peace but thier bond would not let them part. To fuilfill that promise and move on is an amazing narrative from spirits end as the ones still alive will still be left with a fleeting yet everlasting memory of someone who has now ceased to exist in more than one way.
One of my favourite songs... hits deep... cuts deeper with the video
RIP Chester
This song has one of my favourite rap part from their whole catalog. Also electronic in intro is sick.
The 1 time i got to see LP live, this was the last song they played before i left the festival, as i had to get home for work early as fuck the next morning. So this song always hits hard. Its insane how good they were live, especially Chester.
This is one of my favorite LP songs! I can listen to it all day. When this video first came out it was the first interacive music video. It would pull up your photos from Facebook and place them in those photos. It was unique.
A line in the sand bro...that song right there is a banger 🤌
you NEED to Check out the new Song from Mike Shinoda "Already Over" in wich he showcases his singing ability.
Ohhh its linkin park again 😍
Oh, you gave me a super interesting insight, I've never thought of Mike's parts as the representation of the process of thinking, but it made so much sense to me when you said that! Thank you!
Always love the linkin park reactions😀😀❤️❤️
Damn i haven't heard this song in YEARS but still know all the lyrics
LP was such a big part of my teen years
It's crazy how you get a deeper understanding/appreciation of the lyrics and the music video as you grow older too
I have been a Linkin Park fan since Hybrid Theory came out, listened to all the albums, studio and live-albums. But somehow I never saw this music video. I know the song but now with the video, and Chester's passing, it has so much more meaning. Holy crap 🥹
Right a min in I was like wait I figured he was reaction was to u new song and I was like I know this track, but never seen the video till now...as u said it hits different with chester bennington not around!!
So happy you reacted to this... One of the best LP songs and also one of my all time favourite songs. ❤
I love this song and video so much one of the best Linkin Park songs ever and my personal favorite music video
Also a fun thing when this video was first released it was interactive and you could connect it to your Facebook and it would use your photos in the photographs, so you'd have people breaking down in tears looking at photos of like your Dinner or your Cat, or whatever your photos you'd posted were and it was hilarious 😂
I do love the non interactive video too though it's heartbreaking and we all know the feeling like many of their songs of that, just wanting to see a loved one again whether they died or just went away, or if it was break up, whatever it is
I think they were ahead of the time with post Minutes to Midnight albums. Loads of people started hating on them but for me it was cool to hear them experimenting. There's a lot of underrated songs like Blackbirds, Across the Line, No Roads Left, The Messenger, A Line In The Sand and many others.
This song is so powerful i love it so much
the first time I saw this song I cried like a child, this clip is very strong and the lyrics are as beautiful...🥺💖
I didn't plan on crying today, but here we are. I love this song so much it's one of my favorite Linkin Park songs and the video is so sad and beautiful. Chester will be missed forever 🥺❤.
I have a strange memory attached to this song; I was 14 and reading a manga about street fighting called Air Master, and this song came on a lot on iTunes shuffle while I read that series. Now I can't separate them.
A couple songs by Linkin Park I’m positive you haven’t reacted to are Heavy and Invisible, both from their final album before Chester’s passing. Mike does all the singing on Invisible, neither are heavy but their both great songs
Chester also had other bands called Dead By Sunrise, Grey Daze and temporarily Stone Temple Pilots, Mike has Fort Minor and also does some solo music, he just released a song the other day called Already Over
Fan fact about this video:
Back when the video released you was able to connected your facebook account and then they embedded some photos from your profile (replaced the ppl pics in the video)
When this song firdt came out, the music video was actually a slightly interactive video. You'd login with facbook, and all the photos would be replaced with ones of people from your profile. Was pretty neat.
One song that comes to mind is “Rebellion.” It features Daron from SOAD on guitar so you should already know how intense the song is gonna be.
the acapella version of this song is extremely good as well
Lost in the Echo is one of my favourites LP songs . But hey , atleast now you know it too! better late than never :) "Living things "album is good , but for me "a Thousands suns" and " The hunting party" are both underated and have a different story to tell. It's like an audio book for me .
I got tears too when 1st time i hear this song...swear to god i cant hold it 😭
It's been atleast year and a half, or two since I last heard this song. The memories that I have with this are
My wife and I went through a miscarriage just two months ago. This is one song that has really hit home and has a new meaning to me now from when I first heard this song. Linkin Park were truly incredible.
Linkin Park songs i would recommend: Lost in the Echo, Castle of Glass, In the End, Numb
One of your best reactions I have seen. Loved your input. GREAT reaction. Stay Blessed!
Wow, thank you!
this song and while watching the video hit me right in the feels, i lost both of my parents when i was in highschool around 14 years of age, mom to cancer and dad had an accident by which he ended up dying in the hospital
There's a song from the album this came from (Living Things) called Roads Untraveled that isn't the most complex or heaviest song, but it's my comfort song that I go back to when I need encouragement in bad times I'd recommend it since I don't think you've heard it. Honestly the whole album is one of LP's underappreciated gems in my opinion. But, yeah, Roads Untraveled. Always hits me just right.
My partner and me are both HUGE LP fans and neither of us had heard this song but we are in love ❤❤❤. It's so different to the usual but so good. Xxx
Alex, I highly recommend you react to “Roads Untraveled” by Linkin Park. In my opinion, it has some of the best and most meaningful lyrics from LP’s discography, and is a song that brings on many different emotions.
Even with the love this video itself gets, its never enough. Such a poignant message that it conveys about the Angel of Death giving people who have recently passed one last opportunity to see the ones they love most before being able to "let go." The fact that in the briefcase you can see pictures of Chester also hits very deep
Jesus man I found your video as I'm driving to work at 8 in the morning, I just got some Bojangles I'm in a great mood and the moment I heard Chester's voice that s*** hit me hard and the way he's doing his thing in this song you just feel like putting on battle armor and finding a battle
Hearing about Chester’s passing was a really surreal experience. Growing up, we didn’t really have much music in our house that addressed sadness or negative emotion. One of the first band I ever heard outside of my parents influence was Lincoln Park, and for better or for worse, that music at least made me feel heard and understood as I went through bullying and anxiety. Later I struggled with depression, but obviously I’m still here. But to hear that Chester passed away from the same sort of issues felt so strange to me, because of what Lincoln Park did for me when I was younger.
True! Also Linkin*
@@theb00st3r9 text to speech never gets it right lol 😂
@@RoarTheRapper Ikr that's why I always type out names 😂
OMG I love the way you said that listening to LP is an experience ❤
Essa música ao vivo era tão incrível... Poxa Chester vc e LP eram tão únicos, tão perfeitos. Amo eternamente.
Damn, everytime one of ur Linkin Park Reactions gets thrown onto my feed im super happy and super sad at the same time. this feeling of nostalgia and the love of my youth is so great. please keep doing what ur doing. ur awesome

*Those last screams took me to Mars ...!*
It's funny how I was listening to this song yesterday after a long time and today you posted this. Me and my friend Giovanni rerecorded this song and it was fire!
Thank You for sharing, that was badass ✌️
In between will always be one of my favorite songs by them.
"i can't C flat, it aint my tone" Mike Shinoda continues to deliver with the bars
Every time I hear this song it hits me so hard. It's beautiful and sad and just everything when you need it. You also missed the people that had loved ones brought back gave up their life a d became photos themselves.
No ones gonna able to bring those emotions and feelings into words.
We got your back
Thanks for making me go back down my linkin park rabbit hole 😭 song always brought me out of dark places and got my ass in the gym.
Living Things is so underrated, it has so many great songs I listen from time to time🔥🔥🔥
yessss! glad i got to see you experience this song. this is my favorite song by Linkin Park 💕
One of my favorite songs! I listen to it at least twice a week!
2012 was a good year for music especially LP !
My best friend who I bought this album with back when it first came out.... Still can't fully get past it like he said.. got to love the "LIVING THINGS" album. I'm really surprised he hasn't heard that one yet tbh.... Especially cause he seems like an actual ass fan. And this came out 6 months ago. Really surprised
