Hi, just to let you know that what you mentioned at 1:14:45 about activating approach phase is wrong. At this point in your case, when you activate approach phase, the A32NX will slow to 211 kts (O speed =211), indicated in the same MCDU page, then when you want to slow to S : speed= 190), you drop flaps 1, then flaps 2 will slow to 147, and so on till flaps 4. What is beautiful with managed speed is that it will slow down automatically to the speed indicated ( O, S, F, VApp,Vls). Unless the controller ask you to slow down or maintain a specific speed, you don't need to use selected speed and stay on managed speed. You can even land with autothrust on, speed will reduce automatically. A32NX is one of my favorite for this, speed control is easy. What I do most of the time is. when there's a speed restriction of 210 on the approach, I activate the approach phase, the O Speed il almost always around 212 kts. Keep up the good work, you have great videos, very informative.
