Being conservative is NOT the same thing as being toxic. Both liberals and conservatives can be toxic. That said I don't know if Chris Pratt is actually conservative, or just conservative by Hollywood standards.
Why can’t we just move away from the Avengers. People that “ACTUALLY” read the comics agree that the Avengers and the X-Men worlds just don’t mix well together. The Avengers had their “ERA” now it’s time for the X-Men. The Astonishing X-Men story line is literally perfect for the MCU. No need for the Avengers anymore.
Because people are sheep and follow what main media tells them to do. If they do movies for fan service of comics, you’ll eventually have similar results of what DC movies did.
I agree with Wolverine being in the group just NOT Hugh Jackman. And since the MCU hasn't introduced the new Wolverine he ain't getting into the party. So just add Thor and I love the roster.
@@sagate953 Yeah The Marvels and Eternals says hello. Fast & Furious is completely different. Also look at the diminishing returns in the franchise the last one barley made 700M
Its toxic to try to associate 'conservatism' with 'toxic fans'. Also, when has Pratt ever spoken about politics? As far as I have seen, he is quite literally the only MCU actor who hasn't participated in political stuff.
Literally. Didn’t the entire Avengers cast endorse Biden and Kamala in a video together? If anything THEY were political. But we won’t bring that up..🤣
On top of that, audiences just want good characters and engaging stories. Nobody outside of Twitter is obsessed with forced diversity and equality. Grace says this is much needed in the MCU? Really, Grace? Since Endgame, what has this forced diversity brought to Marvel (and Disney in general) besides box office disappointments? This should never be the focus.
Personally, I don't know how true the rumors are, but I am instantly more interested in a potential Midnight Sons movie than the Avengers. And I like the idea of moving Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, and the Werewolf by Night crew onto that team.
That's a good idea. Midnight Suns. I would add Blade to line up. Fighting Vampires, daemons, and gods of undead. This would make a great Halloween movie event.
Yeah both Ghost Rider and Blade would be good. Idk how they'd do Ghost Rider since they'd have to reboot him from Agents of Shield. or go with Johnny instead but tbh I would actually prefer Robbie. Is that blasphemy? 😂
From a business lens, you absolutely cannot have members of the Eternals, She-Hulk and Shuri be headliners in the team?! Whether it's fair or not, they bring a lot of baggage with them and if you want to attract a more wider net of audiences, you have to relegate them to the side. I think depending on how Cap 4 is received, even Sam's role has to be "altered" if that film does poorly. I think you have to go with more safer choices like Peter Quill, Thor and Bruce Banner, this is after Spider-Man and Wolverine.
I don't want any of these Disney+ show characters. But they need to assemble the team already. They should have just done Captain Marvel, Shuri, Yelena, Thor, Star-Lord, Hulk.
Avengers - public team Captain America (Sam Wilson) War Machine Vision She Hulk Ant Man Wasp Black Panther (Shuri) Defenders (looking after the threats too frightening for the general public to be aware of) Doctor Strange Hulk Shang Chi Moon Knight Daredevil
*Chris Pratt actually would be an AMAZING Avengers member, especially seeing him act with Chris Hemsworth their chemistry is inevitable. They could definitely be the duo as Iron Man and Cap were* ❤️‼️
I like the stand in analog idea so in that spirit: Steve: Captain Falcon Tony: Shuri Panther Bruce: She Hulk Natasha: Spiderman Hawkeye: Nebula Thor: Shang Chi
If Disney cares about the franchise they wouldn’t even consider the idea of the next Avengers film. There’s no way they can break Endgame’s box office record, not with the current characters and their arcs. Getting to 500mil would be a relieve.
I truly do not understand why they just dont recast Kang. It has to be easier than redesinging their entire slate. The only way it makes sense is if they had already lost faith in the Kang story before the Majors case.
Did you not see Quantumania ana Loki? Kang was a terrible villain. Its better to pivot now than to further bury themselves with mediocre kang storylines. The multiverse element has also been overused at this point which was Kang's main thing.
I think that She-Hulk should be the Avengers' in-house counsel. Given that she doesn't really want to be a superhero, it would be a way for her to be involved on her own terms.
It’s so hilarious hearing grace go on about the much-needed diversity when literally everything that has ruined Marvel and phase 4 and five has been the over emphasis on pho diversity.
I think Doctor Strange leaving Earth is a sign that some bad stuff will happen while he's gone. Unless they totally ignore that scene like they did the credit scenes with Mordo.

@@wetsocks5055 Most popular female character in the MCU? Yeah, that's probably true. That still doesn't mean she's super popular, considering there's not that many popular female characters. That's the most stupid thing I've read 😂 Iron Man Thor Captain America Spider-Man Dr. Strange Vision Loki Black Widow Hulk Winter Soldier Star Lord Black Panther And that's without mentioning new introductions (or villains) like Deadpool, Daredevil, Wolverine, Thanos, etc. She's had her big moments in the MCU, for sure, but she's definitely not as popular as all those others, especially these days. To have them introduced late, and then have them join the Avengers too soon is pulling a "captain marvel" with them. No one wants another captain marvel
if marvel studios is so concerned about the cost of hulk, why did they permanently nerf him into smart hulk where he's weaker and always cgi. just transform back to banner and hulk out when needed
So you're putting Black Widow at 20 because you think it would feel a little repetitive to have another Black Widow on the next Avengers team but having Captain America on the next one doesn't....the math ain't mathing.
I think She Hulk not wanting to be a superhero is the perfect reason she should end up on the team. The character development of her being pulled in for selfish or personal reasons (ie her friends or family hurt) and then her realizing why she would want to be there for other innocent people would be great to see.
If Marvel / Disney have any sense, you build around your two lead big box office stars - Tom Holland (Spider-Man) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool). The success of the Avengers franchise has historically been built around RDJ and Chris Evans and you basically do that again.
tbh I think the new Avengers team should be the B team of the original team plus the surviving A team. Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Captain America(Sam) Captain Marvel, Dr Strange, War Machine, Ant-Man. then add White Vision, Shuri, Wasp, & Shang-Chi, Star Lord
Grace, so happy you said you love Shuri as BP!! She’s in my top 3 fav marvel characters!! Everyone wants a recast T’Challa. But Shuri is amazing!! And she just became BP
Grace, saying that the avengers didn't have enough diversity for modern audiences, seems somewhat misguided when this "modern audience" isn't showing up to support films at all. The Marvels ticked every box and sucked. It has tanked completely. Why would you try push this anymore? Make movies for the people that want them not for a hypothetical horizon of ghosts from an echo chamber that DONT spend money.
This will bomb. Anything that they make that uses the new characters will bomb. Individual films will do well (Deadpool etc) but the MCU as a must see connected universe is dead.
@@TerrellAustin19941Yes it will if the team is comprised of side characters from random shows not everyone watches. I can’t say I know anyone that has watched or watched and enjoyed the Eternals.
Ikaris was one of the most universally panned characters. He was dull and lifeless, and had no chemistry with Sersi. Richard isn't the *star* they wanted to try to make him. A literal charisma vacuum. I'd go for Makarri and Druig as leads instead.
I really think that casually replacing heroes with other heroes undermines the original characters. For example, Steve Rogers and T'Challa are supposed to be special; but how special are they, really, if Sam Wilson and Shuri can step into their shoes and do just as good a job? I know that kind of thing happens in comics all of the time because of the never-ending nature of comics, but I still say that it makes the universe feel artificial. Great men shouldn't be easily replaceable.
To further emphasise my point: Who could replace Sherlock Holmes? Who could replace James Bond? Who could replace Bruce Wayne as Batman? The answer is nobody. Not as far as most audiences are concerned. So why is it OK to just jettison T'Challa and act like his little sister can do everything he can do?
Agree. Also solidifies the point that they truly don’t have any new ideas and are grasping at straws by trying to replace characters they regrettably killed off.

Try again! I’m sorry to o say, but your top-6 is definitely not equipped to take on an “avengers level threat”. Thanos would wipe the floor with your team. You are missing a Thor type powered hero (yes I know you have him at 7) and possibly someone who dabbles in the mystic arts.
Agreed, Wanda is worthy of being an Avenger. Grace had her at 7 (just outside her top 6). Think Wanda should easily supplant StarLord, New Captain America and maybe even Wolverine (Wolverine franchise should be its own thing).
Love grace but consistency isn’t her forte. Until she loved dune 2 she always made sure to ignore it came out during the pandemic with a day and date release and made a little more than Shang chi. It depends on what she likes where the bias comes in
This roster is so bad, i would not watch it if it plays this way. I respect that this is your opinion. Some members just had bad movies, but that doesn’t make them bad members. I do love however nr.1&2 - Wolverine and Spiderman.
Shuri as the new Black Panther made no sense IN THE MOVIE (don´t care about the comics, movies are ADAPTATIONS). Sure, Shuri is ultra super tech savvy but she never was portrait as a soldier/fighter. It made much more sense to make Nakia the new Black Panther.
Sorry folks. Shuri was the ONLY character who made sense as the new Panther. The Panther protector role is passed down through the royal bloodline. Doesn't matter what Shuri's preferences were when compared to her obligations to the Crown of Wakanda. Furthermore, T'Chaka would have ensured that Shuri was trained for battle during childhood because in the common tongue, Shuri is the "spare" in the adage "the heir and the spare". Should something happen to T'Challa during his childhood, Shuri would have been trained to replace him, again independent of her desires. Think of Britain's royals.
Nobody wants Sam Wilson's Captain America on anything. The guy sympathized with terrorists on his tv show. How Marvel thought they could sell this guy as Cap is baffling.
As a black person, you need to understand that diversity doesn't sell tickets, Grace. Again with your crazy assumptions about Chris Pratt's politics. Ruined the video for me.

Why do you always feel the need to bring up Chris Pratt and talk about his politics? Apparently I can't even be a fan of the man without being lumped with so called "toxic fans". Takes like that are genuinely sickening. The dude doesn't even talk about that stuff in interviews, he focuses on entertaining people, you should try to emulate that.
One of the only was for Moon Knight appearing to make sense would be if his Dark Alter Ego is the big bad all along. And the audience knows this, but none of the other characters do! The drama, the irony, the banter!
There is absolutely no way Kevin Feige is actually stupid enough to put She-Hulk in the new Avengers lineup when her show absolutely TANKED and was widely mocked by the fanbase 💀
Maybe unpopular opinion, i dont want Wolverine or Spider-Man on the Avengers. Rather have them as support. I would like to see Thor and, Captain America, and Captain Marvel kind of lead Shuri, She-Hulk, someone else. I'm sold on the marketability of Star Lord but not as a character we need. I'd take Kingo, tbh.
I agree, Wolverine needs to be in X-Men and Deadpool be solo. In fact, we all need a break from Avengers because they will never be able to replace the OG Avengers no matter how hard they try.
24:16 wouldn't be the first time. we've already seen Spider-Man interact with Star Lord...plus the pop culture conversations (Footloose and Flash Gordon)
Grace... Can you please tell me as a fan why i should get excited about an "AVENGERS" movie when we don't have the supporting movies like we did 10 years ago? We got Ironman, Captain America,Thor and all the other characters introduced well BEFORE the big Avengers movie... What do we have now besides just the name?
The best thing about the first Avengers movie for me was that all the characters had a reason to be there. The Captain America/Steve Rogers was there because he had experience with the Tesseract, Hulk/Banner was there because it emitted Gamma Radiation and he had experience, Thor was there because it was his brother, Iron Man was there because of the science/his tech. The only ones that didn't make a ton of sense were Hawkeye and Black Widow, but they were secondary and already introduced in Thor and Iron Man. And they ended up needing Barton so Loki had an in. I like the line up here because I really enjoy seeing women there and enjoyed many of these characters and their shows/movies. As long as there is a legitimate reason for them all to be there I will like it, aka good writing.

But the character is almost the only one that could be presented cool, new and interesting to a general audience - of course other people have to handle her, not that shows guys
@@lars7282 she hulk would be a great addition but she needs to be redeemed properly before the audiences to get a spot in the avengers. and I don't see a road map to that. cause I don't feel like born again would be featuring she hulk. and for that reason alone she shouldn't be up there
You’re 100% correct. Grace is losing her mind with the She Hulk pick. If Ant Man & Captain Marvel are disqualified for poor box office results then what does that say about bombing a “free” streaming show 😂😂. At least Ant Man has always been a character people generally enjoy on the screen.
A character is only as good as its writing@@Mad_Titan_Paresh
My interest in this has plummeted over the last year. I'm not sure I even want any more Avengers. Maybe it would be best to focus on the next generation of X-Men or take a very long break.
Feel the same way. Give Avengers a break from the big screen.
As if you matter at all
Yep. Let's move on to the x men. I can't with that Fantastic 4 cast. I'm not even going to watch that.
General audiences don’t give a damn about Pratt’s politics, idk why we even keep bringing it up
The man has proven to be a box office energizer battery.
Also he doesnt push his believes through his interviews, he is just a good funny dude , acting out his dreams.
@@SWOTHDRA He should be allowed to push his beliefs through his interviews. God knows we have it shoved down our throats from the other side. Personally, I wish we could eliminate personal beliefs from the entertainment conversation. These people are not pastors or politicians, but we might as well be watching MSNBC every time an actor opens their mouth. God help you if you tune in to the Oscars. The acting community might as well take a collective dump on the public.
Obviously if it changes for " modern " audiences it will flop in a spectacular fashion
I love your list!! I'd also love Kamala Kahn or Kate Bishop, but I imagine they are young avengers!
Yikes. If this is the line-up then Disney is doomed.
24:18 well actually Star lord and Spider-man did already interact in IW. The pop culture was there too. With their very brief dialogue about footloose
My 6
1. Sam Wilson Cap
2. Carol Danvers/Captain America
3. She Hulk/Hulk
4. Shang-Chi
5. Ant-Man
6. Spidey/Star Lord/Shuri

@@moondevell they aren't called eterals for no reason lol
Being conservative is NOT the same thing as being toxic. Both liberals and conservatives can be toxic. That said I don't know if Chris Pratt is actually conservative, or just conservative by Hollywood standards.
He's White, Male and Straight....the devils trifecta by Hollyweirds standards so hes conservative and a republic whether he likes it or not
Even if he was who cares? This is America, we have the freedom to share different beliefs. Once that changes everything becomes authoritarian.
He is probably the safest bet behind Tom Holland for star power despite that
She didn't say being conservative=toxic she said people who don't like diversity in their media tend to identify as conservative and are toxic lol
The latter.
Avengers is a cash cow for marvel there’s no more moving away from
Would be nice to have 10 years of the X-Men and Fantastic Four for a while. And give the Avengers a break.
Because people are sheep and follow what main media tells them to do. If they do movies for fan service of comics, you’ll eventually have similar results of what DC movies did.
@tall9317 The Avengers are all mostly retired, and oversaturated. They should spotlight new tones and stories with new teams and characters.
Even new mutants would be better.
I agree with Wolverine being in the group just NOT Hugh Jackman. And since the MCU hasn't introduced the new Wolverine he ain't getting into the party. So just add Thor and I love the roster.
This team would lead the movie to flop they need to focus on their main characters. If that sacrifices diversity then so be it
1000%
They already have the X-Men for diversity
Movies with strong diversity tend to do better at the box office. Ex. Fast and furious.
This should never be the focus.
ikr!
If they add Ghost Rider I’m definitely sold
White men gotcha😂😂😂
What did Shuri do?
Agree on all except Bruce Banner, Between all the Smart Hulk stuff and just Mark Ruffalo in general I dont see him being front and centre
@@xavierrobinson200She’s not what people want. People want T’Challa back

I don't want any of these Disney+ show characters. But they need to assemble the team already. They should have just done Captain Marvel, Shuri, Yelena, Thor, Star-Lord, Hulk.
This makes the most sense.
Avengers - public team
Captain America (Sam Wilson)
War Machine
Vision
She Hulk
Ant Man
Wasp
Black Panther (Shuri)
Defenders (looking after the threats too frightening for the general public to be aware of)
Doctor Strange
Hulk
Shang Chi
Moon Knight
Daredevil
This avenger team = guaranteed box office failure . They should recast proper captain america , iron man , hulk and black panther .
*Chris Pratt actually would be an AMAZING Avengers member, especially seeing him act with Chris Hemsworth their chemistry is inevitable. They could definitely be the duo as Iron Man and Cap were* ❤️‼️
Oh God. If Disney board greenlights a 300 mil budget with this team of characters, then the company will go bankrupt.
Let us pray that exact thing happens!
I like the stand in analog idea so in that spirit:
Steve: Captain Falcon
Tony: Shuri Panther
Bruce: She Hulk
Natasha: Spiderman
Hawkeye: Nebula
Thor: Shang Chi

If Disney cares about the franchise they wouldn’t even consider the idea of the next Avengers film. There’s no way they can break Endgame’s box office record, not with the current characters and their arcs. Getting to 500mil would be a relieve.
I truly do not understand why they just dont recast Kang. It has to be easier than redesinging their entire slate. The only way it makes sense is if they had already lost faith in the Kang story before the Majors case.
100%
The case gave them an out.
Because Kang as presented so far has been an awful villain.
Kang is too closely tied to Majors. And tbh, they've done nothing good with Kang anyway, he didn't work as a big bad.
Did you not see Quantumania ana Loki? Kang was a terrible villain. Its better to pivot now than to further bury themselves with mediocre kang storylines. The multiverse element has also been overused at this point which was Kang's main thing.
At this point in the dismantling of the MCU, the best avengers movie is the one not made.
I guess Grace forgot Spiderman and Starlord had some hilarious interactions and an entire subplot together in Infinity War :(
Just like she forgot that Ikaris flew into the Sun
I would LOVE to see a mystic team with Dr. Strange and Clea. You hired Charlize freakin Theron so you better use her.
I think Doctor Strange leaving Earth is a sign that some bad stuff will happen while he's gone. Unless they totally ignore that scene like they did the credit scenes with Mordo.
I feel like Grace is the only one who loves Wanda so much lol. She's good, but I don't think she's as popular as Grace thinks
Ive been so confused cause i barely see anyone else talk about her
Wanda is arguably the most popular female character. Definitely top 5 characters in the mcu period.
Idk where you have been to miss out on her popularity
@@wetsocks5055 Most popular female character in the MCU? Yeah, that's probably true. That still doesn't mean she's super popular, considering there's not that many popular female characters. I'm sure Nebula and Gamora are more popular, if only cuz the 3 Guardians movie were massively successful. People love them.
But top 5 MCU characters period? That's the most stupid thing I've read 😂
Iron Man
Thor
Captain America
Spider-Man
Dr. Strange
Vision
Loki
Black Widow
Hulk
Winter Soldier
Star Lord
Black Panther
And that's without mentioning new introductions (or villains) like Deadpool, Daredevil, Wolverine, Thanos, etc.
She's had her big moments in the MCU, for sure, but she's definitely not as popular as all those others, especially these days. And hey, personally I'd love to see her come back, and with Vision, but yeah.
Wanda is definitely top 3 MCU characters in popularity. She’s constantly trending on twitter, practically everyday, her fan base is really strong.
@@sooshibun Sure, ok. I wonder why she hasn't gotten her own movie then..? 🤔
It'd make a billion easy if that were true. They gave her own show when she *was* super popular. I'm not saying she's not popular lol, but there's just too many other massively popular characters.
Reed and Sue have both been members of the Avengers in the early 90s
He was also the leader of hickmans new avengers. He coined the term "everything dies" and was the one who figured out the incursions
To have them introduced late, and then have them join the Avengers too soon is pulling a "captain marvel" with them. No one wants another captain marvel
nobody wants Shuri to be the new Tony Stark
if marvel studios is so concerned about the cost of hulk, why did they permanently nerf him into smart hulk where he's weaker and always cgi. just transform back to banner and hulk out when needed
Grace has officially lost all touch with reality.
Why?
You can change Hulk back to first avengers hulk somehow fans would love that
So you're putting Black Widow at 20 because you think it would feel a little repetitive to have another Black Widow on the next Avengers team but having Captain America on the next one doesn't....the math ain't mathing.
My team will be Spider Man, Cap America, Thor, Hulk, Black Panther, Star Lord, Shang Chi, She Hulk, White Vision, Scarlet Witch and Wolverine
Thor ??
Black Panther and Thor have higher grossing films than Deadpool lol
@@JUANxxTNAFAN He said stars. The actors. Not the characters.
tbh I think the new Avengers team should be the B team of the original team plus the surviving A team.

@@TerrellAustin19941Yes it will if the team is comprised of side characters from random shows not everyone watches. I can’t say I know anyone that has watched or watched and enjoyed the Eternals.
I agree

- Hawkeye/Ronan (Clint Barton) or even change to Kate Bishop for more female representation
- A new MCU version of Wolverine

Shuri as the new Black Panther made no sense IN THE MOVIE (don´t care about the comics, movies are ADAPTATIONS). Sure, Shuri is ultra super tech savvy but she never was portrait as a soldier/fighter. It made much more sense to make Nakia the new Black Panther.
1000%
Sorry folks. Shuri was the ONLY character who made sense as the new Panther. The Panther protector role is passed down through the royal bloodline. Doesn't matter what Shuri's preferences were when compared to her obligations to the Crown of Wakanda. Furthermore, T'Chaka would have ensured that Shuri was trained for battle during childhood because in the common tongue, Shuri is the "spare" in the adage "the heir and the spare". Should something happen to T'Challa during his childhood, Shuri would have been trained to replace him, again independent of her desires. Think of Britain's royals.
Recast T'challa
Yeah… and also… you know…

Nobody wants Sam Wilson's Captain America on anything. The guy sympathized with terrorists on his tv show. How Marvel thought they could sell this guy as Cap is baffling.
A Mystic Team as u mentioned would be awesome, at least for me 😅
Stranger is too busy to play around with Avengers... either he is the plot, or he arrives to resolve the plot 😉
As a black person, you need to understand that diversity doesn't sell tickets, Grace. Again with your crazy assumptions about Chris Pratt's politics. Ruined the video for me.
If SheHulk makes this team I probably will stop watching Marvel… such a bad character

0:30 Grace it also ain't got no audience 😂
Another reason anime and manga is winning.
Without Spider-Man this team is DOA
I agree, Wolverine needs to be in X-Men and Deadpool be solo. In fact, we all need a break from Avengers because they will never be able to replace the OG Avengers no matter how hard they try.
No way she hulk and shurie is on the avengers team 😂😂 i hope feige knows better
This seems more a wishlist than what is likely. She Hulk? Really?

First phase I was emotionally attached to at least 12 characters…right now I care about maybe 3.
For real, I only care about gotg, scarlet witch, dr strange and spider man
After five Avengers films (including Civil War), it's about damn time for the Wasp to finally join the team, let alone leading it 🥰
24:16 wouldn't be the first time. we've already seen Spider-Man interact with Star Lord...plus the pop culture conversations (Footloose and Flash Gordon)
Avengers: The DEI Edition…where’s that business hat you talk about?
I don’t see why we’re leaving out Deadpool. Even him tagging along and everyone dissing his presence would be great.
I hope Grace is right for her Avengers pick, because that means a HUGE FAIL. Box office BOMB. And I love it.
