i remember when i was just starting out i didnt care about skill levels and stuff, and getting 12000 on a race was like my all time best, now after picking up the game again and knowing what stats do, my best is 24000 :))) very good video! i learned some things i didnt know before!
Its tricky in some cups and tourneys thru thebyear ur guaranteed high points but sometimes often thannnot if u dont have the right characters gliders or karts for certain races u will find some a bit more difficult
also if possible, use karts that have a boost in mini turbo or jump boost as you are mostly doing tricks or drifting, dash panel boost works too but there are less dash panels than trick jumps normally in a race. try not to use karts with a start up boost or slipstream boost as you only get one startup boost and how often do you get a successful slipstream? not often at all for me. for the most part only do that if you do not have any or have multiple karts that favor or favorite the course of choice
Kart skills only make a difference of ~120 points and rocket start plus is actually good, it gives 80 extra So not only are you wrong it doesn't matter
Great guide, very well-structured ;) Another thing to note is to have an abundance of item tickets as they can help out a ton when you're in a bad spot or if you're trying to grind for 2x/3x frenzies on a particular course I usually reserve these tickets for ranked & or ACR

Don’t buy something with rubies right away, save up to get the featured karts/gliders/drivers at the beginning of the tour because they are used a lot in the tour
When given the choice, do you recommend using normal or super characters because they’re easier to upgrade or high end characters because they have higher base points and can be used on more tracks, making their upgrades more worthwhile?
I experimented with this a lot and even rebooted my game to start fresh and work from a different strategy. I found it best to work tour to tour. Work out your assets. Look at how many different tracks each asset is favourited in and work with that strategy. Paired with that, weigh up the cost vs frequency of gaining tickets for uplevelling. High end drivers cost more per ticket but you need less tickets for level ups BUT they have more favourited tracks. With all that in mind remember that it can be easier to get your hands on gold tickets for drivers who show up as favourited. They seem to be a happy medium. I say sensibly invest in gold assets where appropriate but favour high end assets and work tour to tour as the long term plan. Silver assets tend to level themselves up over time with the pipe and game gifts and they take a LOT of tickets to level up once you move past level 3/4. Only use them as your best pick in the instance that they are the best option in the ranked cup in the current tour. One last side tip is to look at the battles and you'll find the same set of drivers as a way to annihilate opposition in ranked cup battles. I leveled up Yoshi for one of the battles as they show up often enough (maxed points and almost level 8) and did the same with karts and gliders and my scores blow the competition out of the water when battles are in the ranked cups.
I dont what settings to jse for drifting ive tried everything and drifting never listens to me. Ill just slide and wint get sparks, it wint drift where im telling it to, etc.

I always favour tier level. That's my first consideration in choosing my assets for each track. Open up the driver etc in question and scroll down to look at what each level does to your points. They multiply them. Then test out hypotheticals and write down the points for each race as your data. You'll soon see the difference.
How do you glide through the blu star ring without falling into the unknown in the rainbow cup ? I don’t know how it works and always fall through my glide:(
Im having trouble getting my kart base points to go up from game play. I keep using a kart with 295 and getting 1st place but the kart wont receive any extra base points. How can I guarantee base point awards on a kart?
How do you save tickets (especially item tickets)? Should you just never use them until a certain point? Because I'm always using them to get my drivers, karts, and gliders up, plus for item tickets, whenever I need a boost in ranked, yet I rarely get frenzies out of them.
I remember that when i started playing i will use them constantly, but then I stopped and somehow, the less you use them, the more the game gives them to you. And is more likely for you to get a frenzy if you are on the last places and if your driver, car and gliders are on x2

Need more frenzy for high card high level racers. Feels rigged being level 7 and not getting a big difference in points from level 4-5. Took 5 yrs working on leveling up not using a lot of money once in awhile gold pass helps boost to move up. Almost impossible to hit first place on tournaments especially with rewards on unlocking high end drivers. I can play a level x50 times and can’t beat my own score hit once let alone move into 1-3 place area stuck in 6th with a 7 driver 5 kart and 6 paraglider thing. Still getting kicked down 20k points below 1st place using the same levels or close. I think it reaches a point where you feel like you just wasted all your time playing leveling up. Game over! Takes forever high up in the game
Or you can just spend 50-60 bucks and buy everything you need. Stop being cheap and grinding a mobile game that everyone cheats on. Stop supporting the game if you don’t have the money to win.

I got a score of 17,000 last tour on a ranked cup and was proud of myself. Hopefully this lets me do that EVERY race.

Yeah. I'm very strategic with the current tour in mind as well as overall strategy in mind when investing any and all ticket items.
You can’t get drift points while frenzy’s. Look on the side and you’ll see that you don’t get any points for drifts
Mini-turbo’s are frenzy actions during a frenzy, test it out! 😄
Plus, they will let you gain more ground during a frenzy (increase lead gap or catch up faster), due to the little boost

Yeah. I'm adding that one to my repertoire today. Never thought about the invincibility thing and pairing it with snake drifting.

If you glide lower then straight back up high you can get higher up in the air whilst gliding
Take off your finger of the screen while you are gliding.

You are only allowed a certain number of points each day. After the limit it does not increase your base points
Good video but you were wrong at 6:00 you don’t gain points for mini turbos whilst in a frenzy 👍🏻
