Great footage! - I especially like that BAe 146 / Avro RJ, one of my favourite aircraft. We are lucky at Norwich Airport, we have had 2 visit here in the last few months. 👍
Nice compilation my friend!! My favourite is at 3:10, gotta say the Avro is the one I'll never forget at LCY! I do miss seeing these Aer Lingus Jumbolinos, it's a huge shame they dont operate anymore... Apparently the Bae 146 is now banned to operate from London City, not sure if thats true though.
I know that LCY has grown into the best city airport around, but see the turbo props and the the Bae 146 absolutely brilliant to relive it all , so sad that they are not around anymore, thanks Chris.
Great footage Chris and from only 6 years ago. Loganair aircraft there reminded me of a trip I did up to Stornoway in a Saab 340. Catering was a coffee in a paper cup and a Kit-Kat or a Caramel Log. 😀 Amazing scenery on the way up.
Fantastic look-back at a time not so long ago...what a rapid change!! Improvements all round including the videography quality and commentary which are now top notch.
I swear I was talking about this last week or week before on livestream thought it wasn't around anymore looks fantastic but wasn't a fan into London city felt slow. Great stream as always chris been busy recently struggled to get on live
where chris stands today where the newham council offices are the royal albert dlr station is where the runway was laid for the red bull air race on the thames a few years back
