It took me a while but I realized when Weaver said “..you’re no mother to them and you’re certainly no nun.” He was making a reference to Mother Superior (The blue fairy)
I don’t know why the writers rushed the storyboard. Rupunzel and Lady Tremaine should’ve been separate characters. Even in the curse it bothers me that rupunzel is the daughter of drizella and Anastasia. From there we could’ve had a more proper rupunzel story rather than a mix story which makes it confusing to the audiences. Seeing repunzel become the wicked step mother we are all familiar with makes this one of the worst characters written in the show.
