Leslie, I once heard a friend say that when she was a new bride she thought she had to keep all of her pots and pans like new. But she quickly realized that the mark of a good cook is that her utensils look well used. Clean but well used. If you spend all of your time scrubbing the bottoms of pots and pans and cookie sheets, you won't have any time to make the delicious food your family loves. No need to apologize for seasoned cookware. True cooks appreciate it.

I’ve been watching Moss Family TV Vlogmas. Love their channel. Her husband decided to paint the house outside and then inside . They’d put up tree and everything. He said it will only take a day or so….oh boy…. Tree right there in middle of it all. She has patience and just keeps on going.

I love the little village homestead Renea is such a down to earth Christian women who makes a lots of freeze ahead meals but she love to make all types of food …. Brenda Gnatt is another true faithful women who shares her love of cooking
Please pray for my niece, she has had children in her home for over a year and now the courts are wanting to place the little ones in foster care and these children are happy in her home. They have come so far just to be thrown for a loop like this. I only watch y'all

I hate to be asking for prayers because I don’t always comment on this page but can you please prayer for our family today. Our dog didn’t come home last night and he still isn’t home. His name is Bandit. He is a beagle. We live in the country where coyotes run. I’m just scared and worried for him. Thank you all so much ahead of time.

Thank you for praying for our son. Wednesday he was given no jail time and two years probation. God was mercifully to him and us. Please continue to pray that his relationship with God continues to grow stronger. He also needs to forgive himself. He recognizes that he has been forgiven by God , his wife , family and friends but is struggling to forgive himself. Blessings to you and your family this Christmas season.

I highly recommend Montana Haven/Alaska. My husband and I actually met Joas Miller. I also watch The Tribe of Many, of course The Farming Pastors Wife. I so wish we had a Pastor like your husband! So down to Earth! I also enjoy The Arms Family, Somers in Alaska is so delightful. They really have the random acts of kindness down to a T, such wonderful people.

I frequently watch Tammy and Chris on CVC, I love dear sweet Calvin and Marie at Southern Country Cooking(?), Becky at Acre Homestead and, of course, who doesn't watch Brenda Gandtt. But, Barry and I don't miss a day of Bryant and Leslie.
I also watch Yankees in the South, J&B in the Hills, Amy Maryon, Appalachia, Whipporwill Hollow, At My Table, Rachel cooks with Love, Brenda Gantt, but not always on a daily basis. I wouldn't get my Bible study and prayer done if I watched them all.
Hey Leslie!! I've been enjoying your vlogmas!! I have similar cabinets and you gave me a great idea for where to put my bread in the pantry. I am a short person and in the cabinets that are up high like the one you showed above the pantry I use a lazy suzan or turn table and it really helps so things don't get shoved in the back that I can't see. I'm glad yall are feeling better!!

I know the Candied Pecans are good. That's the same recipe I use. A friend at work gave it to me years ago. I like to watch Tipper Pressley at Celebrating Appalachia. She cooks, does day in the life, a lot of gardening, etc. I also like Mrs Lori at Whipperwill Holler.
I am diabetic and it is so hard to watch what I eat but do you never get concerned about all the sugar all of you eat. I wish I could go back and give up all the sugary cookies candies and desserts so I would not have this problem. It is not worth all the deserts and all the carbs that make my blood sugar rise. Just be careful for your future health
