I can't do any better, I think at this party with the hot atmosphere, they played with a lot of distortion. And the problem is that even if I try to digitize with different levels and different effects, it sounds good on the wav files, but the conversion to MP4 for youtube sabotages all efforts. And it's complicated to try and improve a tape that's over 20 years old and worn out.
@@aciderrant2983 There is noticeable difference in the audio quality compared to other uploads of this tape on youtube, so big up for doing this. I also have 3 sealed tapes from DSP and other systems and now you make me wanna record them and share them online too haha
@@Syndroh In fact you're right, there really is a difference with the others on youtube. I listened with samson resolv 50a (poor quality studio speakers) and the difference seemed small. But I just listened with tannoy reveal 502. My digitizations of this live DSP the sound is clearer than the others but i can hear the treble too much, I'm going to try doing the A side a 3rd time with the treble lower. I need to improve it. I've listened to the others, bass expression is good but has been digitized too loudly, when I listen to it my speakers are on the verge of exploding. History of free party seems less clean to me.
