I was feeling pretty down when this came up on my UA-cam feed, after laughing at Dave & remembering how much I always enjoyed him back in the day I feel so much better now. I never watch tv any more but used to when there was something worth watching like this.
When i was a child at the end of the 1970's in Sweden. And watched Dave Allen on television. Could not understand too much of the humor. But when watching today. Great, great surprise! What kind of great entertainer and personality☺️👍...Can't be compared with anything today. Just wonderful!!!
I loved him the first time around and now I am watching this at the same age he was when he did this series... even funnier coz now I really appreciate what he's talking about!! Where did that time go? He left us too soon..

I am so so happy I put this up,Davie was a very talented man, who ozzed carrisma, he was amazingly sexy, and all of his gags are truly real,being Irish,I know exactly were his jokes about Ireland are bang on, because that's how it really is,he never did a gig were I can relate to his Ireland Catholic gags as he was an attempt,he did take the piss, but it had nothing personal to the church, though I wish it was,being banned from r.t.e , English TV to and many more,but it never changed his humour,and as succeed ed not to get him down, and it wasn't long before everyone wanted him, so amazing.dave is still my hero, love you Davie, and god did go with you rip love valerie 💓❤️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
Again, again and again: Dave Allen is The One and Only. I stopped watching TV 15 years ago, since all the crap. If Dave were still on TV, I would, certainly enjoy TV again.
If this man had 20 more years of life how much more comedic knowledge could this world have rip dave I was brought up with your humour and I hate the fact that nowadays you have to be politically and religiously polite we now can’t have a joke because we have to bite our tongue every one has a right to air their opinions because everyone one has one some might agree and some might not not but why should anybody be prevented from speaking their opinion it’s so wrong
