- Went mountain biking at Markham park today with my brother. He was on his new Giant Talon 2 and I was on my new Trek Marlin 6. It was a fun day but a rough one. My brother had a rough crashed but was okay and a rock ripped the chain off my bike. But we hit our first black diamond expert feature so all in all it was a fun day.

I built half those trails with the old Club Mud crew. I highly recommend to volunteer on some weekends. The trails are 100% volunteer built, maintained and funded. Quiet Waters Park is a nice fast trail too.
I think we both are going to do some volunteer weekends when we get a chance. We’ve been doing some mountain biking lately it’s been really fun. My brother got me into it
@@WeekendPirate Good to see man. I used to do it 3x a week but stopped because of a neck injury. I need to get back into it. I know you don't do the boat anymore due to storage but have you looked into a boat club? A pirate needs to get on the water now and then
@@WeekendPirate You also get perks like private night rides and such.
@@JVRottweil that sounds fun!
@@JVRottweil I’ve looked into boat clubs before, almost put my mako into one but at the end of the day I just didn’t want to pay the fee’s of one to not even have my boat in my driveway. Lol just waiting on a good time to buy a house and when I do I’m going to get a boat right away. I can’t live without my boat days.
I shattered my collarbone on that same little Jump on turtle slide. I’ve hit it so many times and just landed wrong once. Still healing from it, hope to see you on the trail once I finally heal up.
Happens, sorry to hear that. Hope you heal up soon! We will see you out there!
Doing good you will improve with practice and always stay safe. Also get some pads , knee, elbow and gloves. . It will help .
Thanks
Thanks!
