Ocean ive been a dance music promoter for 15 years at the biggest clubs in lodnon working with the biggest names, I know the into the woods boys etc,, tbh you have the skills to pay the bills and create tracks but this game is built on networking, you need to be in the raves and meet other big name DJs and give them your music...you have to get in the mix if your serious about becoming a DJ,. it will take a couple of years but you have the talent to do it,
i come modern rock land and 100% on point regardless of genre. you gotta show up and be a name. be stable and go to the gigs and the thing after the gig.
This 100% - I have not got the experience to provide advice at all but this is one big thing I have spotted from trying to get into the drum and bass scene - be a familiar face with the labels/promoters/djs you want to be associated with

Coincidentally I've been thinking of moving there to try and find my creative "side" but I've come to realise through watching videos like yours that music is what I need to be involved in. Thailand is such a chill place and the lifestyle is so relaxed, have you noticed it's easier to get into that creative flowstate moreso as opposed to living bacck in the UK? KEEP GOING
this couldnt have come at a better time. i took a break from production for a while and am trying to get back into it with the same type of music ocean makes but i keep hitting roadblocks. this makes what i feel relatable.
I love the transparency with all the steps to creating this new sound. The transition since the video about leaving the home studio felt like there it introduced personality and energy in the videos too. Variety in music goes without say ofc!
It's incredible that you even have the discipline to turn up to the Studio every single day and work like that. Those moments where it's just not coming together and pushing through that. Respect bro.
I feel like I did same thing last year. In 2024, I began uploading beats almost every day, sometimes two in day, and then the next night. Eventually, during that year, I ended up getting over 1,000 views on some of my beats, which made me more excited. By the end 2024, I had gotten up to almost 160 subscribers but During the last months of 2024, I found it difficult to create another beat.i just kept trying and made a beat called "beat block." and a few more after that , but eventually, I needed to take a break. I wasn't enjoying the new beats I was making, and they all felt the same. So, I took a break, and here I am, dealing with beat block again.
It’s a lot easier to make house when yous switch from logic. FL or Ableton for electronic music all day. Sure all Daws can work. But I found switching daws to those that specialize in these genres really does help.
2024 was a different vibe. 2025 is going to be even more different, it's going to be a takeover! Sheeesh! Ocean you should make more Thailand content. That sounds super exciting!
