I had a new kitchen put in 3 years ago & ordered this oven. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use this oven. Watching this video had helped me tremendously. Would like to see some recipes and how to cook different things. Only because I want to see what buttons to press. Also I noticed my oven as well as yours says clean....I pressed that and nothing happens.

This video was helpful. I have this in my RV and didn’t quite understand….i thought the long wire rack in the center was for backing, I’m so glad you cleared that up, so I now know to take that out and back on the turn table. Also useful was the convection programmed times vs. manually putting in your time. When using the microwave, I just put my time in and hit start…you showed another way using the cook time button. So I really can take that center wire rack out completely because I’m not doing any combination cooking, is this correct??? I’m going to buy some silicone cookware, especially for the RV, it seems convenient and easy. Do they discolor from foods?

Yes the high-heat rollers are safe in convection mode.

Usually if there is both a bake and convection button on the control panel, the bake is heat without the fan and the convection is heat with the fan.

Have 7 lb. turkey breast and parts . Will there be any problem cooking that size in microwave convection combination?

It should cook fine, using the 30% combination setting with 325 degree temperature. Usually about 10 minutes/pound is good for this. If the parts are various shapes, arrange so the smaller pieces are in the center or even better place in a roasting bag or at least cover the pieces with a roasting bag that has been slit open. This will help it cook more evenly. Remove the bag or open the bag near the end if you want browning.

The pieces that hold the turntable and tray are made of a heat-safe material that should not be affected by heat in the oven.

Just to the right of the number pads on the Whirlpool oven are the "Start" pad and also a "Cancel" pad which will clear everything out. Sometimes it may be necessary to press the pad twice to totally clear the program.

Most microwave-convection ovens do not have a toaster option. If it broils, that could be possible, but not efficient because of the long preheat time to broil. A toaster or a skillet will be a better option.
