We just moved to a new property with a small back yard area . . . I plan to turn it into an herb garden. IF I can figure out how to keep the local deer out of it!
Thanks for commenting! I’m so glad you’re going to plant herbs. Try applying blood meal around your plants to repel the deer, I use an empty can of vegetables, fill it with 1/4 blood meal and top it off with water. Dig a hole as deep as the can and place that in the hole. It stinks but helps a lot. You have to refresh it on occasion.
I love that you started this video outside where you gathered your plants. Taking us step by step. I loved it. Thank you.
Thanks Ruth!

Do you think Comfrey would grow well in Colorado?
Yes, as long as you water well, it’s a perennial, so I think a heavy mulch around it would protect it . It’s a very strong plant.
