I have a very small Snow Village and it takes hours to set up, I can’t imagine how much time it takes you, so much details. Even something simple like in the Tree Sales, the different kind of trees all lined up, beautiful! I told my niece about the area with the FBI tape, first time ever! Every time I watch your videos, I see something different, I am Mexican American and tried to find Hispanic people and all I found was a Quinceañera with a priest. You found people in Zoot Suits ! Your video is inspiring to us.
Oh Kathy, this is amazing and beautiful. I feel inspired now to get out my village that has been packed away for several years and begin my collection again. Thank you so much for sharing this with others. Such a creative representation.
Beautiful and relaxing, many hours you must have spent in such tiny, intricate work. Thank you for sharing your masterpiece. Art takes many forms, you are a fine artist.
Kathy, truly amazing, the time and effort you have put in to produce the best village we have seen so relaxing watching it thanks for sharing, we have just started this year and built our first one happy new year
really enjoyed your peaceful village really a great idea about the music you chose to use and lots of eye candy I can you thought out the village I will be looking forward to 2013 village I also have a village its under the title grandpa daves Christmas carny town I envite to check it out once again great job kathy
oh so pretty! I am 22 and just starting out my mini village series (I still live with the parents) hope to have something amazing like this in my own house one day!
Mine is so small at this point, I don't know if it is ready postings this year. I just started once again putting out my Halloween village this year and my husband suggested we go back to doing the Christmas one too. I wasn't sure about, then I saw yours and said , yep I need to start again. I guess I will see what I have and what I put together this year. It cannot hold a candle to yours!
Thank you. I just got through taking it down. It took 2 weeks to get everything put away. We decided not to put the 200 plus buildings in the garage this year, the packaging deteriorates. We used a small bedroom walk-in closet packed completely from floor to ceiling solid. Numerous tubs of accessories are in the garage.I am hoping to spread the village out next year. I have roadways I couldn't even use this year.
Kathy what a beautiful village. Very detailed and I can't imagine how many hours of hard work you put into setting up your village. Where did you get your cars from for the village. I love those models. Looks like back in the 50's car models. Thanks for displaying your village. Douglas
POSSO DIRTI SOLO COMPLIMENTI SONO QUI A VEDERE QUESTA MERAVIGLIA DI VILLAGGIO BEI PEZZI BELLO BELLO BELLO NON O MAI VISTO TANDA BELLEZZA COME IL TUO VILLAGGIO AI UN PATRIMONIO DEPART 56 MOLTO BELLO
Kathy, 7/30/2013. I am just starting to put up my village. I'm in a wheelchair so it will take me a while to set it up. Hopefully, it will b done by Christmas. I will b leaving it up all year long. My grandson loved my village. He asked me to keep it up all year long for him. He passed away in 2008. I'm doing this in his honor. what type of tables do u use to go as high as u do? Ur village is gorgeous! Adrienne McDonald, South Daytona, FL
There will be quite a few additions for the 2013 edition. I am looking to lay it out more so I can use all the roadway I have. This village is up November through January.
Kathy, your village is so beautiful! How long has this been a tradition in your family? I just started my collection and am so inspired by your village, it's not only traditional, its fun and festive, whimsical and everything else! Thank you for sharing, and Merry Christmas!
I had a candy village for years when the kids were little. Six years ago I saw two Christmas buildings Kohls was selling, an apartment house and a block of three stores, they haven't done anything like them since. That was the beginning of my love of villages. It expands every year. My daughter and son-in-law now have a village of their own. they have a carnival, which I haven't ventured into, yet anyway. I have joined some Facebook groups of villagers. I am a little obsessed you might say, at least my husband thinks so sometime. I watch my videos when I am stressed out to relax. That is one of the reasons for the music choices. I really like the piece from my 2011 village.
A beautiful Village display - well done and thanks for sharing ! ( on a negative note, that Wondershare logotype appearing right in the middle of the frame throughout the video was most annoying - it was an unwelcomed distraction to the beautiful display).
Thank you. I do agree, the logo is annoying. I have not used that program since. I have learned a lot since that year, yet that waas my favorite village. The logo isn't present in the condensed version of the my 2012 village. I tend to make them too long, my husband wanted a shorter version friends could watch. Most of my villages have a couple versions on my UA-cam channel Gibsonblvd.
Kathy, you gave me my inspiration for villaging. I asked you a hundred questions last year and went on a purchasing frenzy. I am still a newbie and come back to your villages for ideas. I belong to a group on Facebook..."Our all year around Christmas" and would love for you (if not already) to join. This is a fantastic group who share how to's, village pics, ask & share advise. I think you'd be a wonderful addition. Please join!

Great video thanks for sharing! Makes we want to get out there an decorate my villages in August lol. Was the snow blower a piece that you made up? I couldn't find it in Lemax or Dept 56....thanks
Stunning, but I wouldn't have put the crime scene in. I know you probably wanted it as real as possible to a villiag e but don't think it was needed and have something beautiful a sad air to it
This is my favorite Dept 56 Christmas Village display. The details are just right! Thank you for sharing .
You are so welcome!
Therapeutic, tranquil, and a ton of fun to watch. Great music selection vs the typical Christmas jingles.

Wow! Your village is just stunning! Do you keep it up all year or take it down? I can't imagine how you could store all of this. Great job!
Kathy its great! Where did the space ship come from?? Very detailed. It is magical. Thanks for many ideas presented.
Pete
Thanks! The space ship is fro Department 56 it is called 2001 Space Oddity. I picked it up on Ebay. You have to watch, because they can be pricey.
Cool!
Thanks for the info.
