Great video, great song. James sounds incredible. Also I had to chuckle at James' intro "we're here to make you all feel good" vs the younger (and other things) James "we're here to kick your ass!!" lol glad he's in a better place, positive, and the band is still killing it
Saturday was a lot better !! Sound in the standing area (I was first row) was really really good. James sounds amazing too. I have been to 30 shows and this one was one of the very best.
Newsted said he is not able to play shows like this anymore because of his health. He said this in a huge interview last year i think. He does still play. But more relaxed music

I was hoping with 2 nights of completely different set lists we would get more deep cuts. While Until It Sleeps in 2023 is rare, I think the audience would prefer a rarity like Eve of the Beholder. I have been around long enough that I have seen Until It Sleeps live in person around 12 times. I have yet to see Eye of the Beholder live, just like everyone else who wasn't able to see the Justice tour in 1988-89.
James did great, but it is undeniable that this song loses power without Jason's backing vocals. I guess that's why they very rarely played it live after he left the band.

Damn their recent live shows are pretty bad. Guitars are out of tune, Kirks playing sloppy, James voice doesn’t sound as confident and a bit shaky. What happen didnt they just release a new album?

Personally think some of the deeper cuts they're putting in are cool, along with opening with the instrumentals both nights. I'm excited to see what status and what goes for their sets at Download in June

Nothing is out of tune. You're hearing a gigantic PA system in a football arena through you're home little phone speaker. Also it distorts a little because there's so much natural reverb in a big place like this.
