Jacky was doing very well considering he wasn't using sticky tires. I think this race was can of a benchmark to see where he's at with the current setup.
I am really considering saving up money and selling my 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 for a Supra or new Nissan Z. 348 horsepower was cool to experience, but it is time for the next level.
I think the acceleration of v10 supra is way more smoother. But overall it was a great run. I am interested if more track tire or something like that can be used for next fun run
You can probably get similar engine work done but the Supra is such a lighter car with a totally different suspension setup I don't think you can compare

@@jacksonzhong9298 because if they outlaw aftermarket flat bottom underbody panels, I'm sure they also outlaw any aero add ons that is not a wing, splitter or diffuser.
Very interestingly, I believe the rules don’t specifically outlaw sharkfins. It’s an idea that’s been explored in other TA cars before, and they provide stability towards yaw, but it’s a surface that’ll still create drag. Maybe smaller rear wing + shark fin would be an interesting direction!
Where is your downforce low speed Jackie? I've told you to fix your sideskirt. Your car lacks the ground effect (which is more pronounced in low speed corners) because all the air is let loose out from under the car through the side of the car - where is should stay under the car & exit only at the back of the car / diffuser.
The battle of the ages.... *boss music ensues*
Edit: Hearing that v10 is glorious. Great battle Jackie, you gave it your all!
So freaking awesome! Would be cool to see in cab footage of his car too

Power to weight ratio always wins in the end
And budget.

@@tempeztad Yeah, just a tick off pace which is super impressive given 700lbs more weight and less grippy tires

That was super interesting, wish there were a couple more laps of that.
Me too. Haha

Good stuff Jackie!!
Put it on slicks and your with him for sure!

What do you guys think of Doing this work with a M4 Xdrive or m240 xDRIVE? Would be able to get out of the corners.

Damn you're on 200tw sliding around and keeping up. Please please have Ryan let you have a go with the Formula Supra! Curious to see how you'll do
That was a scary looking moment. Glad you were able to slow it before going off.
When i first saw ryan's a90 ive been waiting to see it go against yours, fcking sick man
Two of the most Insane Supra's on the road going head to head? Sign me up!
U r fckn awesome bro, keep it up
U only gonna get better.
torque and boost are good but the formula supra has less weight and a lower center of mass, that's what make you fast at cornering
That 600 lbs difference PLUS the tire grip advantage, especially on this track where power doesn't do as much, sealed the deal I think!
Of course Jackie knows that, no need to state the obvious lol

@Sep G completely unnecessary comment...
Is the B58 one on the stock internals?
Full stock motor with AMS Turbo Kit
@@JackieDing86 Bloody hell that B58 must be reliable! Do u recon a 2JZ could take it?
@@JackieDing86 One more thing, What exhaust set up (headers, downpipes, muffler etc) do u have on it? it sounds incredible, 1JZ like!
The AMS Alpha 6 Turbo Kit, catless downpipe and a custom center exit exhaust with a resonator, that's it lol
@@JackieDing86 Just asked bc I wanna get a B58 for my 2nd car. Pretty simple! But im gonna keep the cats on tho
Two magnificent build... But that formula supra engine is incredible
ball of steel
700 lb difference... oof
Brother Jackie.D. I know you can more than BEAT that car.
close your eyes and it sounds like f1 we missed, speaking of f1 had you ever thought of using some shark fins lol
Is that even legal in Street Mod?
@@izzdin6228 idk if the regulations even specify that

@@JackieDing86 the reason you are not stripping your car out is because it will put you on another class?
Yep! Our Supra was always built for Gridlife StreetMod/GTA Street class, so full interior required.

Not sure about your aerodynamic background, but skirts are not always improving things. It depends on many many parameters.
Maybe it's time to acid dip the Supra for that weight reduction 😎
I think he is not stripping his car because that would place his car on another class
