Irene Pérez x Bilt Collection Spring '22

Each season we collaborate with one artist to create works of limited edition art for our Bilt Members. The Bilt Resident Artist program shines a spotlight on artists from around the world. Handpicked by the Bilt creative team, each artist is chosen for their expression of contemporary culture and their use of new methods, mediums, and creative storytelling.
This season our resident artist, Irene Pérez, took the Bilt team across the Atlantic to Spain where Pérez welcomed us into her sunbleached studio in Madrid and gave us a behind-the-scenes look at how her surreal artwork comes to life.
Bilt collaborated with Irene to commission four exclusive pieces of artwork. Each print allows you to spark conversation as to what the deeper meaning is behind each tailored man.
The series "The Powerful Ones" portrays three men in suits with distorted faces. As a bonus, Pérez created an abstract print using her secret technique. The chaotic yet calming waves and curves in this pieces make a beautiful statement.

We do quite a bit of research using different art websites and Instagram! The team spends around 3 months finding and nominating three artists before choosing one for our next Collection.
