You know there's something up when they're looking at each other for seconds, never breaking eye contact like they understand one another. The way their eyes twinkle or the glow on their faces. Now that is pure. Whether they are really in a romantic relationship or not, whether it is one sided or what. I can say there is love in there. Something like a bond. Connecting two people.

hey guyss i didnt expect this video to get so many views but i just want to say that this is just a theory its not supposed to be serious. ships have been here for so long, these are just my observations and everyone is free to believe whether this video is legit or not. I don't like how Leeteuk kinda pushed the subject on them, but I know he 'had to' as he was the MC. But still, I too think there must really be Something between them. Honestly. I'm not being delusional or just 'wanting my ship to sail' but really, like others have mentioned too : the way they look at each other no matter is it 0.2 seconds or half a minute, their eyes just lit up and something in their expressions change.
The text in the video said about Jongdae going along with Leeteuk with his voice kinda strained or whatever, and all the 'pushing' I think he really likes minseok. More than as a band member / brother. Same goes for Minseok though, but Jongdae seems more 'afraid' of it so to say. Idk if I'm making any sense, but there's just some spark between them.
Ofc talking about this is really personal, and all of us are invading their private lives with this but ... There might be the fear of the public and fans actually thinking they're gay and a huge controversy being born, or that feelings are hard to admit to oneself. Like I said before, I can't know anything for sure, but there just has to be Something between them.
I will agree that they had and probably still do have a very close friendship, but it obviously wasn't more than that since Chen had a long time girlfriend that he married in January of 2020 and she was pregnant at the time.
